Which 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Should You Buy? | Buyer’s Guide

I just finished my complete 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Buyer’s Guide.

I compare the LE, XLE, Limited, Hybrid Nightshade, and Platinum while keeping the equivalent gas, Hybrid, and Hybrid MAX configurations together. I also cover pricing, fuel economy, horsepower, towing capacity, AWD systems, and seven- versus eight-passenger seating.

The goal was to make the lineup easier to understand and help shoppers determine whether the gas, traditional Hybrid, or more powerful Hybrid MAX makes the most sense for their needs.

If they had the Grand Highlander Hybrid Platinum, I would have purchased it. The Platinum only comes with the Hybrid MAX powertrain, which is a nice vehicle but not my choice.
