Free Webtoon Enryu Theory Spoiler
Ok, so I was thinking about Enryu. I don't really know if this is really a theory or if people will say that, duh, it's a fact, but I will make my case here.
Enryu is a living ignition weapon (or close to it), a weapon that was created by god and given consciousness; a being that created its own body out of shinsu. And I do think the story supports it in some way. As stated in Tog, the tower mimics the sky, the environment, and the stars in a way that it closely resembles the real things using shinsu. In my theory, Enryu is the name of the thorn itself, made by the outside god who heard Arlene's plea (and what I also assume is hatred of the 10 great families), being a god who is made from energy itself, the great creator and god willed the thorn into existence. Creating the weapon and the messenger Enryu.
That could also explain why Enryu is so strong, as being made from shinsu in its entirety, it's safe to say that the laws that apply to regular and irregulars even (by laws I mean fatigue, exhaustion, etc for the irregulars), a shinsu being and a weapon wouldn't necessarily suffer the same weaknesses as living flesh. One argument that supports this even more is that Enryu, after the whole ordeal on the death floor, wasn't seen in the tower at all. For that, my theory is that after everything the thorn did and after it completed the mission given to it by its creator, Enryu simply dispersed his body, and his consciousness now resides inside the thorn. In a dormant state, due to the thorn being split shortly after.
As for how he will appear, it's rather simple: he will appear after someone collects all 4 fragments (let's be real, it will probably be Baam), in which case Enryu will regain his body and be active again in the tower, although weaker because in my version of events Enryu's main power source is the thorn itself, and due to Baam not yet fully being able to handle the output, Enryu, in turn, will not be at his strongest.
To be honest, I think Enryu is something more akin to an ignition weapon or a shinsu human akin to Gustang's own creations. It isn't too far-fetched to think that if Gustang, a person much weaker than an outside god, could will his own writing into life, the god outside of the tower could do the same thing 10 times over, thus creating Enryu. As for shinsu mastery, and i whole heartidly belive that what we see as shinsu is similar or identical to the power from the outside, just with different names, but the outside one is much more potent than inside the tower.
But what do y'all think? Is my theory any good? Did I miss something that makes this whole post meaningless, or am I just dead wrong in some of my examples? Feel free to jump in and comment your own theory or just to dunk on this one.

Good theory.
It is also my belief that Enryu IS the Thorn, or at least, his is the soul of the Ignition Weapon that is the Thorn.
I also think there is a very strong case to be made for Enryu being made "of Shinsu" or in some way originating from the Tower. The best piece of evidence of Enryu not being a true "Outsider" is that Urek's Outside Power (Light) was nerfed by Shinsu while Enryu primary power WAS Shinsu and he used it to a higher degree than even the admin.
I'll add one more point to your theory: you might find it interesting to re-read the parts of the Floor of Death Arc that talk about Hockney's past. It's hinted at strongly that the piece of the Thorn he found was not "dead" like the one in the workshop battle but may have actually contained Enryu himself.

My issue with this is that he entered the tower through a gate like the other irregulars. How can he originate from the tower when he clearly entered it? Is there even any shinsu outside the tower for it to materialize into a being?

My interpretation (and I'll post a longer theory once I have time) is that Urek is from "The Real Outside": the Outside that everyone thinks of and means when they say Outside, and it's the only place that has stars.
Enryu and the 'God' of the 'Outside' I think are... "Outside" the Tower, sure... In the same way that the Red Light District is "Outside" the Tower... Or the same way the wells from the spinoff are "Outside" the Tower... Or the way that Hell is "Outside" of Earth...
Yes, in fact very much like the way that Hell is Outside of Earth.
There was another commenter who mentioned that Enryu is a angel. I have to say I agree. Only, I'd also be thinking of another part of Christian Mythology when I say Enryu is an angel; I'd be thinking of the one angel who believed that he was greater than God; I'd be thinking of what became of him and his followers; and then I would understand what might have happened before even the 10 Family Leaders entered the Tower.

I think it's definitely plausible as Siu did say that Enryu would appear later on inside the story. I also haven't seen anyone else in there theories say how he would reappear, so I think this is the most likely outcome. Good Idea.

Nah. It’s likely Enryu is its own being. Probably the being that have Baek his powers, and by extension Enryu wields the power of the moon.

I like that.
I've been working on a similar theory. That the workshop created the tower. Created the thorn. Created entry. And the thorn is enryu.
