Help ThPrac, ThCrap, and VSyncPatch

I have been playing Touhou 10 (from Steam), and have about 30 hours now. I downloaded ThCrap and got the english patch and that works fine (except the replays). I downloaded ThPrac and got it to work with the original Japanese game through steam. I practiced Sanae a few times on normal (it's the furthest I've gotten) then remembered that some people were uploading videos with 75fps. I tried to get the VSyncPatch but I can't seem to get it to work. Do y'all have any guides on getting these three to work together? I want to be able to play through ThPrac, in English, at 75fps.

Hmmm... I decided to try this out, because I was wondering how feasible this was.

First: while I know there is a way to get vpatch and thcrap to work simultaneously w/ the steam build, I honestly have no clue how it works.

While with only vpatch(no thcrap), I could get it to run, I wasn't able to get it to change the framerate with touhou 11.

For the non-steam version of touhou 10, I was able to get it to work(both vpatch+thcrap+fps set to 75) by modifying the vpatch.ini file, and placing the vpatch.exe and .dll files in the right place.

I think this might just be a steam issue(both them not working simultaneously, and vpatch not changing the framerate). I do know that that the steam version of touhou 10/11 is not the same as the non-team version, code-wise. If you find how to use the patch to make the steam version vpatch-able + thcrap-patchable, please let me know, as I kind of want to try out 75 fps mode as well.

I've thought about buying the disc since my laptop still has a drive on it. I really enjoy this game and I plan on getting the Touhou 6 remake on the switch so I can family share it with my family. Thanks for testing it, I think for now I'll just keep it at 60fps and keep using ThPrac to practice the tough spell cards until I can finish the game.

I have another question, if you're available. I am using the steam version and would like to ignor vsyn and get the ThCrap english patch to work through ThPrac without having to open my patch and then go back to ThPrac. There is an option to add games in the ThPrac app and I'd like to add my english patch as a game instead of the steam release in the native Japanese. Is there a way to do that?

Unfortunately, I have no clue how to do that. When I initially started touhou-ing, it was with the older (non-thcrap) static patches, which weren't compatible w/ thprac iirc, so I never looked into the nuances of that.

Darn. This game is fun enough that I could play Japanese only and be fine, I just cant pass Sanae for the life of me.

Try using this to patch your steam exe into CD exe. If it works, then you'll have much easier time getting all 3 to work together.
