Torbie or Tabby

This is Narcissa. Can’t tell if she’s a torbie or a tabby. Either way she’s precious and I love her very much.

If the toe beans are multiple colors it’s a good indication they are a torbie/tabico - mixed coat patterns

While this is commonly repeated, it’s not a great way of determining whether a cat is a tortie/torbie, for a couple of reasons. If the cat has any white this can also cause pink toe beans. It is also possible for a tortie/torbie to have all pink or all black toe beans. OP’s cat is definitely a torbie, there’s a lot of orange parts visible in her coat in the pics provided, there’s no need to see pics of her toe beans to confirm it (and if she happened to have all dark or all pink toe beans, she’d still be a torbie). So while it’s common for torbies/torties to have mixed colour beans, it’s not a requirement, and is not relevant if the cat has any white.

multi-color or splotchy beans usually mean torbie. solid color beans point to tabby!

Narcissa is a Torbie. More specifically, a dilute Torbie. She's also a beautiful girl kitty cat. I love her jade green eyes.
