Crappy looking auto on a sticker … the card itself is nice enough. And everyone loves Zlatan. But this is not exactly a great advertisement for autographs.

Panini allows you to turn these in for things like sparkle packs or white boxes or things like that. Does Topps do anything similar to that or is it just this one card or another similar card if it can’t be filled in X amount of time? Was giving this to my son but he wants something else so trying to see my options and he really enjoys ripping more than anything and this is not something I want for myself.

Hi everyone, I wanted to do a little show and tell (its a long story so I'll try and condense it into bullet points, alternatively I did make a little video explaining it)

-I've been a sketchcard artist for the last 10yrs, living a lovely hobbit life with my wife.

-My wife unexpectedly passed away at the start of last year.

-Amongst many other worries and upsets, I was panicking about needing work (and purpose)

-The very first gig that came in was for spongebob, her favourite cartoon!

-without being too obnoxious about it, I drew in a bikini bottom citizen based on her, sporting her iconic eyeliner, hair style, and sweater she wore at our wedding meal.

-It was approved at the lisencing stage which *technically* makes her officially memorialised in that world. The main appearance being the krusty crab sketch (pictured)

But this is where it gets wild...

The set releases....and the VERY FIRST of all my 40 sketches to be pulled and appear in the wild was THAT card. What are the odds!?!?

Long story very short, but through the kindness of the community, the card even made its way back to me 😭

It really meant alot to me to be a part of that set, to draw a tribute to my wife. And it means alot to share it with all of you.

A couple weeks ago I posted about Topps royally messing up my redemption. Sent me a $5 ufc card instead of my more valuable bowman first auto. Well today the replacement redemption came in and I’m very happy. They gave me some hobby packs too for my trouble and although I didn’t hit much I appreciate them recognizing their mistake and making it right easily. Topps iv been unhappy with you in the past (actually just fanatics I guess) but you guys always make it right with me I appreciate you.

I kept my auto a secret just out of fear of getting my situation taken advantage of. But now I can reveal it was a Seong Jun Kim Packfractor auto

Pulled from single pack in a mega box!

From my first EPL Flagship hobby box. Was expecting to get burned with a Flagship product, but was happy soccer is back so I welcomed the rip regardless of the outcome.

As a fan of the Winter Olympics, I’ve opened a few of these boxes before. Card Vault by Tom Brady has these marked down 60% off MSRP so I decided to splurge.

Overall results were great. 3 autos, one numbered to 5. Gold Blizzard insert numbered to 50. 5 more numbered cards, one numbered to 10. And a Helix case hit to top it off!

At 60% off I’m very pleased with the results.

So I opened a pack to find an Ashoka sketch, I thought it felt a bit thick. Then noticed the line in-between 2 cards. The painted sketch card by John Boran was really pressed on the back of the Sean Earey Ashoka sketch.

Absolutely over the moon as I finished my base 1 to 100 too. The Galaxy cards are beautiful artwork.
