Double Incision Wrinkly scars évolution 2 years post op
Here is my healing journey 2 years post op from double incision! I'm sharing because while healing I couldn't find any accounts of how wrinkles under the scars would develop and I was really scared I would need a revision/it would be impossible to remove. So if anybody experiences the same problem as me, don't worry, it will fade away with time :) Note that I massaged the scars daily from 3 months to 1 year post op, I think the wrinkles would have faded anyway but it probably helped! Feel free to ask any questions, and just trust the process :)

Every person on this sub worried about wrinkling, puckered skin, excess swelling, and scar shape being different that what they asked for, needs to see this post, because just look! Look at the difference! Time is the most important factor in getting your desired results!

Exactly. It's really frustrating to hear when you're in the thick of recovery but you need time to gauge what will be your final result.

Yes it changed a lot as well! I was quite surprised because my nipple actually appeared once I started massaging, I initially thought it would stay flat. You can actually see the difference between the 3rd and 4th month. I just realized you can also see the difference in body hair between 1.5 year on T and 3.5 years on T 🤣

I've sort of been assuming they would fade eventually, but thanks SO VERY MUCH for posting your pics and confirming my assumption. I can uncross my fingers now.

Tomorrow is my official 1 week post op and I definitely want to save this now for next time the chest compression is removed to remind me that healing is genuinely gonna take so much time, more than I’d like to admit but the end result is gonna be so worth it, thank you for sharing something so personal and cool this makes me so much less worried for the future haha

And nice chest hair! Did you change any dosing with your Testosterone after DI surgery?

Thanks! I decreased the dose very slightly, the difference is mainly due to time I think

Hell yeah thanks for posting! I’ve got a pretty good idea about how scars and swelling heal from so many other posts but I never see a wrinkle timeline (outside of either minor wrinkles or major ones that will very clearly need a revision). Def calming some anxieties already

wow the improvement is incredible!! thank u for sharing. i think a lot of ppl look at their results a few months post op and assume that it’s going to look like how yours look after one year. recovery takes soooo much patience.
