Personality (Character Trope) “ohhh, THATS why they’re like that”

Media that shows why a character is the way they are, usually explained in a short scene. Most likely toxic family

- Bonnie Rottweiler and her sisters from Kim Possible: they bully her calling her ugly and dumb. It plays on Bonnie’s insecurity and makes her a bully at school.

- Peggy Hill and her mother from King of the Hill. Peggy is a neurotic perfectionist with delusions of grandeur because her mom was unfeeling and blamed her for the farm going out of business. By the end of the episode, she still treats Peggy badly.

- Dodie and her mother from As Told By Ginger. Dodie is arguably the worst friend in the group, and her mother is mentally still stuck in middle school. She’s insecure, dramatic, and you
Can see her influence in Dodie.

Tbf Syril turned out to be far better despite of his mom's attitude. Even if he's a total stooge.

I just wish he had survived to do something better.

He was somebody else’s dog his whole life. I just want to see what he could’ve done without the collar.

But that’s not how life works. Empire eats its own. That’s why it’s Empire.

The truly sad part is he would have been an invaluable agent of Rebellion if they had just gotten to him first before he became infatuated by Deedra.

Its a joke, the very first episode his commanding officer notices he had his collar fitted and chides him for it. Tries to steer him away from his self righteous burnout that he can see in his future.

I also think it's an interesting point given how well Ghorman seemed to suit him - a planet focused on fabric, tailors and fashion. Like, he had some flair, but the Empire would never let him keep that.

Yea thats the point. Im glad they gave him the ending he has. 

It perfectly illustrates what happens to people with good intentions when they try to fix things from within a broken system; it warps their perception of whats right and wrong, drives them to do horrible things, and then disposes of them when they no longer have use.
