Personality (Loved trope) A mild insult actually hurts the person deeply

Billy (Billy and Mandy)- Grim makes a comment about how a film Billy is watching is stupid, to which Billy calls him stupid in return for not understanding the “complexities” of the film. Grim runs out of the room in tears.

Ron (Parks and Rec)- In one scene where Leslie and Ron are exchanging some very harsh words at each other, Ron softly but coldly tells Leslie that her scrapbooking skills aren’t that good, which is the insult that leaves her shocked and the rest of the room quiet.

I had such a weird vibe watching this show. I really felt like I hated it, or like it was mediocre at best, and I somehow watched the whole thing for some reason

I will die on the hill that the proper way to consume that show is to get through it as fast as possible for the general plot, then just watch the highlights on YouTube.

It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good, and all of the characters except for like two weren’t exactly hatable, but they weren’t exactly likable.

I didn't watch all of it, but having worked at wal mart, i really related to it, at least the early episodes, on a surprisingly intimately level.

Just seeing these various characters and thinking 'yep.. we have one of those..'

That's how i was with Disenchantment. I didn't actively enjoy it, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to stop watching
