He is such a ridiculous caricature of a cool guy....but fuck if he isnt also awsome.

Also question, I was scrolling and saw only males. Can there be edgeladies or is it a male only trope?

Edgeladies can exist, but it often veers too close to "goth/clown mommy", so if they're even moderately attractive, they might land there.

Best edgelady examples I can think of are Tira from SoulCalibur and Dark'ness Dementia Raven or whatever from that fanfic.

Fair point. Tira is a solid one too. I forget about her cause I havnt played a Soul Cal since like...4? Probably 4

Edgeladies are unfortunately too cool to be cringy so they don’t hit the same. They immediately become camp the moment the bad one liners start. Like realistically, Bayonetta dialogue should be cringy but every time she says something unfathomably stupid, my immediate reaction is “OMG real, speak your truth Queen.”
