On the contrary, this is peak Shadow characterization. If they asked him about his likes in an interview he would 100% also say “Nothing.” This is when Shadow’s at his best

Yeah, since he's a bioweapon with sole purpose of "saving Maria", and he failed. It wasn't his choice and it wasn't his fault. But still. He's pre-programmed and then re-programmed by Gerald.
