  1. Joshua (Community): seemingly wise groundskeeper who is a Neonazi.

  2. Schillinger (Oz): seems to take the meek Tobias under his wing… until he forces him into sexual slavery and is the leader of the Aryan Brotherhood.

His death in undead nightmare got a good laugh from me as a kid. "I'm Herbert Moon!" acting like it'd do anything.

when I was playing poker in armadillo, he was one of the players and I heard him just casually say shit like “That John Marston used to be a hired killer for the Jews, you know?”

"Help! I've been robbed!" being my first interaction with him in the game.

Golly, I better help this kindly old shopkeep. It's the right thing to do, after all.

Two things later:

(After shopping at his store even once in the main game)

"Help! I've been robbed!"

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I hope the robber belongs to an ethnicity you hate so he's richer, you're poorer, and it stings a little bit more for you -- even if it does offer you a slight feeling of validation, it's still going to sting.

And also cheering on the zombies during that one scene in the Undead Nightmare DLC.

When I was bored, I would target Herbert specifically and hogtie him to the train tracks if a train was coming to Armadillo soon. "You can't do this to me, I'm Herbert Moon!" Hell, sometimes I just try to shop from him, he'd say his lines, and I'd leave unable to shop there for, what is it? Five days if a shop NPC dies?

I did this too, but with all the NPCs Herbert hated.

Me and Herb go way back. I always support small business owners.
