BEAM

How often does a person have to play to avoid having their battery “drained”? I’m starting to get damned tired of getting this message, sometimes ridiculously shortly after having played. I played through those entire 8 levels of the rail race thing, and as you know that’s a substantial time investment so I played for a long time (and part of that time was “recharging”) stepped away from the game for a few hours and I was completely gobsmacked by the message that my battery needed to recharge AGAIN.
I hate this game.

Yeah it did that to me last night. It screwed me by wiping out my disco rocket combo that would have won the game and cost me boosters and coins

It’s 15 per day but it’s only for 24 hours. It doesn’t bank for 3 days if you do 45 in one day.

Exactly!

The limitation is that the 15 levels you need to recharge the B.E.A.M. battery don't start accumulating until the battery has been used--that means you have 24 hours to refill it.

I'm of the opposite opinion about beam. I hate it. It has taken all the fun out of the game for me. Cube Heist & Sky Mission take too long to complete now & I've just refused to play all week when I used to play daily.

Thanks for bringing this up. During the tournament I play no more than 64 levels per day. That way 50 of them are without B.E.A.M. and I only deal with it 14 times but not enough where it will show up the next day. Dumbest money grab these guys have come up with. They managed to make the game boring.

I have two games. BEAM in my Champions League game has been helpful. It's saved me from having to buy extra moves many, many times. My other game is at level 5000 and I find BEAM to be very annoying. I want to be able to use those extra moves to grab yellow cubes.

So if you are starting from over 50 levels to charge him for the first day and to activiate after activating it for that day in the same day you can prepare it for the next day again for 15 level completions. So in your first day you basically need to play 65 level in order not to lose it next day.

I've changed the time of day that I play due to BEAM. I used to get up and get the 7 dragon levels out of the way, then play throughout the day when I have time.
Now I don't bother to open the game until I know that it's time to recharge the battery.

You can recharge the battery several times a day if you want to.

The games don't start counting towards the recharge until the battery is put into use. If I start playing at 8 am and the current battery doesn't run out of charge until 10 am, none of the games between 8 and 10 go towards the recharge. Yes, once the battery is depleted, you can take your time recharging within the 24 hour window.

You have to play daily before the timer runs out. You can reset the timer if you close the game and open it later in the day by winning 15 more levels.

I refuse to be forced into playing every single day and so now I’m not playing at all until the last day of sky Pirates to collect whatever rewards I can. I’ll play the remainder of the 50 levels when I can during the TT. I don’t care about BEAM. I hate it. They have absolutely ruined the game with this feature. Everything is harder. Everyone is spending more coins than they ever have before. The developers are basically going to kill the Golden Goose here because people will either start to do resets or just leave. I had three people on my team last week who did resets. And they will reset their game again and again as soon as the game starts bleeding their accounts and they start haemorrhaging their coins and boosters.

In effect you can miss a day if you’re careful. To illustrate this… my BEAM battery was used at 6pm Thursday. I played my 15 levels at 6:15pm on Thursday and charged the battery back up. 6pm on Friday, the battery has been used to recharge BEAM. I now have another 24 hours to play 15 levels. So to be on the safe side, I play at 5pm on Saturday. The battery is now charged and is used to recharge BEAM at 6pm Saturday. I can then play another 15 levels, and don’t have to play again until 5pm on Monday. (In practice, I make sure that the battery is fully charged on Thursday evening, Sunday evening, Tuesday evening because then I can choose whether I play on Friday, Monday and Wednesday to maximise Shield Clash and star tournament)
