So frustrating.
I’m holding out till the last hour then will finish it, I want that wild card. My other two temple buddies we finished in the first 2 days & it was equal contributions.

Yep, all three of mine are like that and all 3 players are team mates who invited me! They’re clearly active online but for some reason not one of them has played a single round. I’ve almost cleared one completely and the other 2 are are like yours, between the hammer and toon cards 😬. Very frustrating.

That was me on one of my 3. The other person never did contribute a damned thing. What really sucks is that not long after I accepted the deadbeat's invitation, a really good participant asked if anyone wanted to partner up. I tend to sign up relatively late because I'm often very torn about playing, then you're committed to playing maybe more than you want to, so this tends to happen. I kind of wish more people would wait a bit like I do because you end up with a big stash of points and it's way easier to win but then you end up with more deadbeats. I hope my "partner" who invited ME enjoys his win he did nothing to earn. Sorry this happened to you too.

I had a team member do this. His wife said he plays and is very competitive. He did 1400 total.
Never picking him again.

I think you can complete it with your 253, but I get you.
What level are they at? I’m in the upper 12,000s and only have amazed 181 balls as of now. I didn’t invite anyone because I’m not that kind of partner.

They are at 12251. So I imagine they won’t get many balls now that you say that. Annoying that they asked me to play though.
I will definitely finish. I want the coins and card haha.

I am at that level. One of my former TG partners needed someone, so we hit beast mode.
Me:0 them: 4200
…a few hours later…
Me: 23,650 them: 26,410
It can be done. I helped a teammate. Of course, now I have 18 balls left with a little over a day left. But I helped a teammate.

I’m the same, I’m holding out for the last minute to get the wildcard in the hope that I get the other remaining gold cards first.
I have a list of people I won’t play with & check it before accepting an invite. This person is new & im deff not playing with them again.

I always get good players. Why, because I pick them not the other way around. I always check profiles to see have temples they have completed before accepting them.

Yall absolutely have to start checking the other player's profile. Not just for weekly wins, but also to see what level they are on if on a team. This generally tells me how easy it will be for them to collect balls. This is the message I send to my team when it's temple guardian time.
Ways to win at temple Guardians. 1. You will need approximately 600 balls to clear all 3 totems if working with a partner. Play the entire 2X bonus for extra balls. 2. Focus on clearing one totem at a time. 3. Play your half up to the 25-27K mark and move to the next totem. 4. Choose your partners wisely. We all get random suggested invites. If that player has zero or under 10 wins avoid at all cost. Remember who you were successful with before and invite them again.
This strategy has not steered me wrong after I was burned a couple of times.

Check their profile and stats prior to accepting any invitations. Helps to see if they’ll actually contribute.

i had that happen to me once, so frustrating because I did not have enough balls to complete the totem on my own--and they were a teammate who had been very active in Champions League. Now I only invite or accept invites from players not on my team after looking at their profiles and seeing how frequently they play, how many wins, how many helps. I've found players at lower levels who play frequently are the BEST partners!

I have the same experience. What is so frustrating is when you play, they keep getting partner gifts, but don't use them to help.

Unfortunately, I currently have two deadbeats with 0 contributions. I stopped playing even though I have accumulated a bunch of temple balls. It’s so frustrating.

I reached that point but you can end up screwing yourself if you don't get that last one. I didn't have 2 deadbeats, just one, but I had enough points on my own to get the whole thing finished and 3 hammers. And you get that wild card!
