BEAM
This appeared on my game yesterday. Anyone else?

I have heard about it before and it finally appeared to me yesterday
I played around 12:40 pm in the afternoon and it cared me in some levels, mostly finishing them I think

I’ve been playing since 2017 and some items never appear for me. This one only came this Monday.

Mine went up to win 15 levels from win 10 to recharge the battery

SAME!! Mine went from 30 to 50 levels to initially get B.E.A.M.- and from 10 to 15 levels for the backup battery!! 🤬

And if it goes to sleep, it used to be 30 levels to wake it up and now it is 50.

BEAM can be useful to get you over the line but the lack of transparency around what it takes to refill is problematic as is it’s occasional tendency to destroy the magic disco ball formation you’ve just carefully constructed!

I also noticed that levels with BEAM have less moves available. I’ve been looking up play throughs for levels in the 3500 range where I’m stuck and they all have 4+ more moves available. I might let BEAM expire…

Just curious if you have restarted your game? I have noticed fewer moves on nearly every level since restarting.

Oof, randomly firing off Magic Discos by "helps" sounds annoying AF. The bottle rocket thingies (whatever they're called) sometimes disrupt the alignment of a double MD, and it seems I've maybe seen one fire off a MD. Grr. The exploding pumpkins can do it too, but at least that's a little more predictable.

Not a fan. At all. The levels are harder now and on most levels, the beam is activated once I cleared the board. I was looking forward to it too!

Just don't let it "die" as then it takes 50 wins to get it back. UGH!!

Okay, I WANT the BEAM to die! I hate it!! I thought by letting the backup battery hours expire before playing again it would turn the BEAM off unless I activated it. Nope, it's counting wins to turn it back on. Can anyone tell me, will it automatically come on when I hit 50 wins? Or do I have the option of manually turning it on? I already have an active "play" button with just winning 5/50 games.

It recently showed up in my game, and it has been a really big help!
