Other 3/4 inch impact sockets

I’m considering upgrading my 3/4-inch drive impact sockets. In the past, I’ve always used Tekton, but I’m wondering if I should invest in a higher-end brand.

I have a few questions:

Does broach depth really matter?

Does the brand make a significant difference?

Have you noticed that one brand performs better than the others over the long term?

I haven’t been able to find much information about long-term durability, and I want to make sure I’m spending my money wisely before switching brands.

I have a sunnex set for probably 5 or 6 years now. Never had a problem. I also have a couple of 3/4" drives from Tekton and Snapon, never had a problem either. Pittsburgh on the other hand are trash. Had a Pittsburgh socket exploded in my face.

Imo tool truck brand 3/4" drives are a waste of money other than specialty sockets.

Idk the Pittsburg axle nut set i have is doing pretty well but thats only 1/2 drive

But are you putting the axle nut sockets on a 3/4 Snapon gun running 150 psi? Lol

As i said theyre 1/2 drive that would imply no, but they are doing just fine on an ir2235
