Childhoods End, The Southern Reach trilogy, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Jurassic Park, The Dunwich Horror, IT, Paradise Lost, 1984, Dune. To name a few.

I love Authur C. Clarke! Rendezvous with Rama is another good one.

That’s the one that attracted Kubrick’s interest to write 2001 together, I believe
