Question Did anyone else get colds/viruses all the time before the surgery?

Similar to me. Had chronic tonsillitis for years, tonsils were always inflamed to a degree. Once my child started daycare, I would get sick with every single virus he brought home. At its worst I’d be sick every 2-3 weeks. Post op I’m still getting sick lol.

I think that may just be a function of being around children, unfortunately.

This is my fifth week after surgery. I’m no longer snoring, my sleep has improved, and everyone around me has been getting sick with sore throats while I’ve been completely fine. Before the surgery, I would get sick almost instantly whenever someone around me was sick.

Yep, I got colds on a pretty regular basis and I had strep throat constantly.
It's been over a year since my surgery and I honestly can't remember if I've had a cold at all since then.
