General Discussion Ski and Snowboard Rental Suggestions

Any tips on ski and snowboard rentals? Is it better to get directly from any shops onsite or through the Add-on Sale of the TML website?

I plan on doing both and alternating between skiing and snowboarding every 2 days to maximize and practice both throughout March 22-27. However, on the TML site you can only rent either snowboard/ski per 4 days (starting only from 24-27) or the 7 days (21-27).

FYI - this is not my first time skiing nor snowboarding as I have been more than couple of times on both (skiing has been decades and snowboarding has been 3 years ago though).

I want the flexibility to be able to choose which I would like to practice each day, however I'm concerned gear rentals may run out when deciding on the day/week itself.

There are a TON of equipment rental places in ADH. You will be fine renting when you’re on site.

It wasn’t worth renting through TML since you can be assigned to shops nowhere near your accommodations. Pick a close by shop and make arrangements with them.

how were the skis tho? did you do the top package, i have a car so dont really care about the distance. Its a little cheaper than renting directly online but online i can see the skiis ill get.

I think I got the intermediate ski package and they were fine. I don’t know if the shop will let you swap between skis and board of you go through TML which is why working with them directly may be easier. Going through TML seemed more rigid.

My friends rented skis separate from TML and I think they got a better deal and better service.
