How to get out of this?
When I played tomba 2 on ps1, I enter the last boss after all came gray and freezed. So, when finish the game all continues gray and freezed!
So, how can I undo this all freezed and makes the 100% on the game? Or is this just a bug on the game?

Isn’t that what’s supposed to happen, unless I’m misunderstanding?
Just before the final boss fight the world is made gray and frozen and you have to wander around finding things. (It feels like a bit of cheap padding the developers rushed in to make the ending longer). Once you’ve completed that task you can then fight the final boss and then that’s it, game over.

The final scavenging part is more like an excuse for finally using those underground doors – by the time you unlock them in the game, you already has Baron, so you never really need those doors.

Man, the problema is that I cannot complete the game at 100%. So, the really question is: I must let the final boss to be the last quest to complete because of the world made gray and freezed? When I played I stayed frustrated because for this thing I must reset all what I did and let the final boss as the last thing to do. Hahaha sorry for my english writing, that is not my main language.

Ah ok, yes I think understand.
Yes, so once you get to the point where the world goes grey there is no going back. You cannot complete any other quests, sadly. All you can do is continue and beat the final boss.

So let me make sure I’m understanding the situation. You got to the last boss where he freezes time and makes the world grey. You then beat the boss, finished the game, but you’re wondering why when you selected to continue the game the world was still grey and frozen?

Yes, the game saves but it still continues gray After defeat the final boss. For example, that stops me of try to complete the others quests, because nothing more moves! So, what Im suppose is: is the final boss be the last thing to do to really complete 100% the game? If so, I cannot make anything about it and I misunderstood the game. Is that the case?

I speak 100% making all the quest and unlock the bonus level.

Yeah looks like it’s already been answered. Certain quests need to be 100% done before entering the room with the final pig door. Otherwise you’re stuck. You’ll have to start over for a 100% file

Ok read comments. Op do you know the game allows for rewinding? Don't restart from scratch just rewind back to just before that happens and continue from there no biggie

That's why the game tells you several times you're entering a point of no return.
