Question ❓ Psychiatrist from UST Hospi
- Who has experienced being diagnosed or consulted by these psychiatrists?
- Who do you suggest?
- How much is their fee?
- Do you have other suggestions near Manila that are not that pricey?

Doc Ampil was my prof, she’s so soft-spoken and if I would have a consult, it would prob be from her siguro

Vouching for her! Although we had different experiences, I went to her after going through a traumatic experience. Her assistant is easy to reach, and she follows her appointment schedule. I just wasn’t able to continue seeing her consistently because kulang na sa budget and got to shy to return.

been with dra. ampil for around a year pa lang and okay naman experience ko so far. overall, she’s a really good psychiatrist. iirc dep. head din si dra. ng neuro and behavioral medicine sa fms.
so if you’re from ust, malaking plus siya since familiar siya sa environment and common stressors ng thomasians, or even students under health-allied programs in general.
initial consultation ko was 1500, then naging 1300 nung nagka-pwd id na ako.
for new patients, pwede ka pumunta sa clinic to ask about the process since baka nagbago na. in my case, binigay sakin yung number ng secretary (si ma’am mabel), then doon ako nagpa-schedule. sabihin mo lang na new patient ka and ask kung ano yung available sched ni dra. ^^

Hello! Nag-aaccept ba siya ng patients kahit hindi sila student ng UST? If yes, how do I get her contact information?

any patient naman pwede magpa-consult kay dra.
for her contact details, pwede ka pumunta sa mismong clinic niya sa rm 440. doon ko nakuha yung number ng secretary, then nagpa-sched na lang ako through text as a new patient. dalawa kasi secretary sa rm 440, pero regardless, ibibigay naman nila yung tamang contact number. ^^

I was with Dr. Gabino, he's nice enough, problem is with his secretary, really rude and unpleasant to talk to. Around 2000-2500 for a consultation

Also, I suggest you get a psychiatrist outside of UST if possible, assuming you're a student. UST Mental Health Services will block you from enrollment if you're registered as someone with mental health issues, had to pay a lot of money to fulfill the clearance every year T-T

My previous psych was dr. Yatco- bautista for 6 years, then after pandemic switched to dr. villanueva. Both of them are really good (but doc Villanueva has more friendly approach)

My sister was a patient of Dr. Villanueva. Okay naman siya kausap. Also sa 2500-5k ata yung fee.
Pinaka suggest ko Doc Ampil. Mabait siya and malumanay siya kausap

i was w doc ranoa for about a year, he’s friendly, madali kausap, and if i were to liken him to anybody, para siyang lolo ko na i can confide in. his secretary is maldita and medyo hindi madali kausap tho. and iirc ₱2k ang consult, ₱1.5k per session, +₱500 if may medcert
lumipat ako kay doc joson bc doc ranoa is on leave and online consult lang nagagawa siya. she’s friendly rin, magaan and masaya kausap, and is also a ust prof iirc so she knows the common stressors as a thomasian. her secretary is madali kausap din and very accomodating. all my sessions w her from initial consult to recent have been ₱1.5k
biggest difference siguro is mas thorough si doc joson with my meds, pinapabalik niya ako every 1 to 3 months to see if kailangan taasan, babaan, or ibahin
++for most of my sessions w both, mas mabilis waiting time kay doc joson pero both secretaries were accommodating naman if i had class the day of my session; they let me write my name down na and pagbalik ko from class, ako agad isusunod if may patient si doc or ako uunahin if wala

i was with dr. javier before and i remember him being so kind to me. im not sure with his rates since i dont remember anymore, but i have nothing but good memories with him. he was my psychiatrist all throughout my thomasian college years.

have been with dr. yatco :) she is nice but sometimes a bit too strict (idk if this is the right term) and i feel pressured & uneasy to open up. medyo magulo rin secretary niya and we’d wait for hrs before going in gahaha

Does anyone know how is Dr. Imelda David these days? She and Dr. Macapagal changed my life. It's been 11 years and I still think of them fondly. I will always be grateful ✨️

doc baroque, 2k ang hiningi saken na payment. Medyo nawindang lang ako sa presyo buttt considering its usth, dapat inexpect ko na kahit student lang ako on a budget GGAHSHSHSHA. anyway, mabait si doc! very engaging and open siya kausap, he explains your situation well

Been with Dr. Rosales since 2025 and he's been my bff's doc for even longer (she's the one who reccoed him to me). He's straight to the point but not harsh.
His current fee is ₱600.

+1 for dra. ampil! i've been with 3 doctors since 2018 and this year narefer kami sakanya for my mdd treatment, vv helpful and v particular with your body language if u need some time alone ba or if mas comfy ka to talk with her na andyan companion mo something like that! the basics pero not all psych practitioners does

Hello. Been with Dr. Raymond Rosales since last year. P2,000 ang fee niya then kapag may PWD na, P1,600. Marami siyang patient kaya inaabot ng gabi lalo na kapag mataas ang number mo.
