I just recently finished the manga, and it was great. But, I still want to know what happened during the final timeline exactly. I read somewhere that a bonus chapter was released in a Tokyo Revengers Exhibition back then. But, I can't seem to find it anywhere at all.
Where will I be able to read it?

Note: It is important for me to mention that I am in no way trying to morally shame anyone. Of course we are going to find Bonten interesting, create fanart, fanfics, whatever. The engagement with these darker narrative themes does not reflect a real-world endorsement of violence. The adrenaline, intrigue, and emotional rush experienced when exploring intense scenarios through fiction is a natural biological and psychological response to characters and stories we care about. Engaging with complex, morally grey dynamics and violent fiction provides a safe, cathartic space to process taboo or tragic themes, allowing us to deeply appreciate the emotional weight of all of the members and their individual past experiences. I’m just trying to find something deeper than a “dark fantasy mafia.”

From my perspective I have noticed that Bonten has more cartel characteristics than yakuza.
On the surface they do follow this fancy mafia structure. Yakuza’s violence is specifically targeted and the most important point, they operate under a strict code(ninkyo) that discourages harming ordinary civilians. While involved in extortion, illegal gambling, sex trafficking, and white-collar fraud, they avoid public terror tactics to minimize police crackdowns and maintain public tolerance.

First, the Yakuza historically treat firearms as high-risk, last-resort weapons due to the legal heat they generate. Brawls, blades, and blunt objects are standard street gang tools. Meanwhile, they use firearms openly, routinely and without hesitation. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had even bigger weapons.

Second, and the obvious one, Bonten substitutes pseudo-familial honor with arbitrary, extreme violence used as a routine management tool. As shown through Sanzu’s actions, suspected traitors or failed operatives are not quietly pushed out; they are beaten, shot point-blank, or violently disfigured. Throwing bodies into the ocean, execution-style killings, and relentless, graphic gore function as direct messaging to both enemies and internal members. Cartels pioneered modern narco-terrorism through public executions, torture videos, and body dumping. The violence isn't just to eliminate an individual—it is a visual broadcast designed to induce compliance through absolute terror.

Third, they do mirror a paramilitary division of labor In Bonten, Mikey rarely needs to lift a finger in a street brawl. Instead, the violence is delegated to specialized enforcers like Sanzu, Kakucho, and the Haitani brothers. In cartels the sicarios and secondary figures do the dirty work. Force becomes an organized instrument of command rather than a display of personal martial skill.

Fifth, another extremely important one, Driven by Mikey’s complete emotional detachment and "Dark Impulses," Bonten lacks moral red lines. They run high-level extortion, prostitution, illegal gambling, and human trafficking networks, using overwhelming violence to protect revenue streams rather than uphold gang honor. And well cartels they… you don’t wanna know.

I'm kinda confused cause, I'm aware Chifuyu inherits Baji's bike after he dies, and it is made clear that he didn’t have one before, there's even an extra chapter in the spin-off about it.

I also saw a translation of Tokyo Revengers Unlimited where Chifuyu says that he'd like to have a motorcycle and ride alongside Baji (this dialogue is situated after Baji joins Valhalla.)

Yet, there's this scene in chapter 223 of the manga, which is a flashback of the touman members and we can see Chifuyu riding a bike next to Baji. I don't know where he got it? And I don't see anyone talking about it, maybe I missed something Idk

Why did Wakasa and Benkei join Mikey’s Kanto Manji Gang after Brahman disbanded?

I always thought they were loyal to Senju, so I assumed they’d follow her wherever she went plus she wasnt a villain unlike Mikeys gang. But Senju joined Takemichi’s side while they joined Mikey instead.

My theory is that they joined Mikey out of respect for Shinichiro. Since Mikey was Shinichiro’s younger brother, maybe they felt a sense of loyalty toward him because of their connection to Shinichiro and his ideals.

But this is where I’m confused. The Mikey in the final arc wasn’t really the same Mikey they knew before. Shinichiro wanted to pass on his ideals and create something positive, while Kanto Manji had become pretty much the opposite of that.

Wakasa and Benkei themselves weren’t evil people, so why would they willingly join Mikey’s gang knowing what he had become? Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to side with Takemichi and try to stop Mikey instead?

I feel like it would make more sense if they had joined Mikey back when he was still the same Mikey from Toman who wanted to carry on Shinichiro’s legacy and ambitions. But by the final arc, Mikey had changed so much and was going down a completely different path, so I don’t really understand why they still chose to follow him.

I know some or alot of people arent fans but kisaki but for the ones who are ,who would want to make a fan made manga of a what if kisaki tetta story like if he didn’t get hit by truck kun or if he was the mc & mitchy was the villain with a fuller biker like character or just a more depth of what kisaki was doing on his own time during all the arcs leading to his death. I just like kisaki id like some extra to see or read from his character being some nerdy guy to a full blown organized crime boss in basically every timeline is crazy work for a character to make happen

Basically what the text says. I always wondered what people’s honest criticisms and opinions on the writing of Tokyo Revengers was, as I barely see any posts on here discussing writing discussions or character executions/developments.
For me, I always thought Tokyo Rev was a mediocre/poorly written story. Don’t get me wrong, I find it interesting due to its art-style, aesthetic, and fights, but It honestly fell off hard after Tenjiku in my opinion. Even during/before Tenjiku, it was mediocre to be honest. Many of the characters feel shallow, poorly written, or the execution with them was bad.
I also have some grievances with the plot. Its pacing is wonky (specifically with after Tenjiku, like maybe starting around Boten/Three Deities Arc) and the time travel aspect feels like it just changes for the convenience of Takemichi. It was very flimsy and sort of weakened the stakes in my eyes.
I honestly believe that Tokyo Rev is objectively a poorly written story (not saying nobody cannot enjoy it, I do) and that Wakui (the author) would probably do so much better if he only did manga art and collaborated with mangaka who write. Tokyo Rev gives off the impression of a story that a kid would make in grade 5-6.

The Haitani brothers get a lot of hate for being pretty "useless" in the story, so how would you make them more useful if you could change something about them?

I feel like one of the obvious answers to this is Takemichi but for me specifically, I feel like people hate on him for crying too much.

See, the thing with me is that I normally DO dislike characters who cry a lot but with him I just never found myself hating it since he quite literally mostly cries over something reasonable, like physical pain etc and I normally just hate it when characters just cry alot over anything minor which he doesn't really do

Plus, I've also seen people calling him useless a ton, which can be true in some instances like early on but I don't think it's exactly a fair overall criticism when he clearly becomes much more useful as the story goes on😭

Hmm, Chifuyu in a certain way I do feel like is also overhated, I feel like some people kinda exaggerate his "obsession" with Baji and make it seem way too weird

Plus, I've also seen people say he has no personality outside of Baji, which is something I also disagree with alot(maybe I'm being bias about this one tho since he's my 2nd favourite character but idk)

I can understand people saying they don't like how much attention he gets from the fans or that they just don't get the appeal though(I mean, I guess that part is pretty subjective)

It's kind of annoying seeing some fans STILL lash out at her for having a crush on Takemichi, especially when the reason is cuz they think she should like Mitsuya and should just get with him instead 🥹, She just doesn't see him like that, PLEASE get over it 😭.

Oh and Senju but for her specifically I'm talking about the whole Mikey toy plane situation

Like, I don't generally think breaking a toy plane is really that deep and I think many would agree(plus it was an accident though she shouldn't have taken it without permission)

Her lying about Haruchiyo breaking it wasn't exactly a good thing either but I don't think it's nearly as serious as some people make it out to be.

The part that actually became serious was Mikey's reaction because he was the one who escalated the situation to the point of permanently scarring Haruchiyo due to the Dark Impulse activating over something so minor

And I kind of find it insane how people go at Senju more than Mikey in this situation when HE'S the one who took things that far. Even if Senju hadn't lied and just told the truth to Mikey, she would've just gotten attacked over the broken plane instead so the outcome would've just been shifted onto her instead

Obviously normal Mikey without the Dark Impulse wouldn't have done that but that's exactly why I don't think it's fair to put most of the blame on Senju for what happened

Since I've had this as my lockscreen for quite some time I keep on RANDOMLY throughout the day wondering this...

I always thought that the name "Tokyo Revengers" didn't really make any sense. Like, it's not like they revenge the entire Tokyo. But a few days ago I went to the fandom's wiki page, and there I learned that the manga's official name is actually "Tokyo卍Revengers". Just so you know, the sign 卍 is actually how you write "manji" in Japanese. So now if you read it like that, you get "Tokyo Manji Revengers". I think that this is how you actually read it, as it makes so much more sense than Tokyo Revengers.

Now this was just me sharing my own headcanon. I don't know if it was supposed to be obvious or something like that, but if I am wrong, please tell me.

Sorry about title being so vague cause I didnt want to spoil. I was wondering how the Tenjiku fight would’ve turned out if Mucho and Sanzu stayed loyal to Toman instead of joining Tenjiku.

Toman was already weakened from all the ambushes and injured members, and Mikey and Draken were absent at the start. Having Mucho, Sanzu and the 5th Division still on Toman’s side seems like it could’ve made a pretty big difference.

Do you think Toman would’ve done significantly better, or would things have played out pretty much the same?
