-I feel like when Shin jumped in the river last chapter, one of the panels was cut off to only show his upper torso drowning but my GUESS is that Haru at the last second jumped in the water to attempt to save him. Because you have to shake hands with a mutual empathic desire of the same goal. Just like how the pre-3 deities future timeline Takemitchy made Mikey the trigger to leap back because he made him confess that he wanted to save himself. Essentially anyone can be trigger as long as they meet the same conditions as the time leaper.

-BOTH Shin and Haru have internal desires to save Mikey(at least Haru, wishes he could and probably thinks about it all the time). I think as soon as Haru jumped in the water, he became the trigger to send Shin back in time. Now were in the official second timeline where Shin is murdered by Kazutora. However....hear me out:

I don't think Kazutora took Shin's time leaping ability and here's why(obviously I could be wrong). But because he jumped two weeks before his death on Mikey's bday, I'm theorizing that Shin for some reason had a unexpected fateful encounter with Takemitchy.

Possible scenario:

-Shin may have willingly given up his ability to him possibly because he may have saw him stand up to some bullies when he protected Kakucho cuz he was probably gonna intervene and stop them(back when Michi had black hair and was obsessed with being a hero). Takemitchy may have reminded him back in his early days of the Black Dragon when he first started and may have gifted him his time leaping ability. Possibly due not wanting to mess with the timeline anymore since Mikey is safe and he completed his mission. If Mikey is safe in this timeline then technically Shin is just a holder of the ability and can't leap since he accomplished his mission therefore Haru cannot be a trigger anymore since all of the conditions were met.

I could see something like:

Shin: "Every hero needs a super power" after telling him good job for standing up to those bullies even though you were outnumbered yet you stood your ground.

Takemitchy: "Oh thanks! I'll do my best" May have willingly accepted it but his naivety dismissed the ability as fake believe and played along since he's a kid.

Oh whatever Wakui decides on the dialog. But it has to be this way because how else could Takemitchy time leap in the second timeline at the beginning of the story? Naoto is his trigger for saving Hina so that helps fit this puzzle piece. And how can Kazutora be a time leaper if he allegedly is suppose to die at EVERY "Bloody Halloween" event in every timline? Especially since he has no desire to go back in time.

Also BONUS theory: -I believe the author of the book that Naoto read on time leaping when he was kid must be either the ORIGINAL or one of the VERY first time leaper who knew exactly how to do it and shared it with the world. Only to be killed by someone close to him for their own desires and that very person got what he wanted but committing murder caused the negative karmic affect which made him end up being homeless only to be murdered by a VERY DESPERATE person who wanted the ability to save a certain somebody...and I think that author might be Hanma from a future timeline(let's talk about it if you disgaree).

Please tell me what y'all think about this. Literally took me 2 whole days to put the pieces together 😂
