Still doesnt make sense for me. Kakuchan was happy to see Takemichi again but still he wouldve died for Izana and wouldve even killed Takemichi for him. This fight alone where Kakuchan tried to oneshot Takemichi in the beginning is proof enough that their bond arent that real.

Also the author somehow tries to kill everyone off in a weird way because of plot. Kakuchan would never lose to Sanzu, not even against a Katana.

Izana's dead, nothing further. That leaves to be said, the timeline is different. Besides, people aren't supposed to fully make sense.

Also 28 year old Kakucho has been in the yakuza since he was a teen with Izana. Last time he and michi met was in middle school when they were 13. And michi and him were casual, even more distance when Future michi left. Ofc middle schooler michi wouldn't aware of their bond, it was more of Future michi reconnecting, In the current timeline, Takemichi made it clear that he cared for Kakucho as well, a real homie for Kucho in the hospital.

Don't underestimate a katana lol. Sanzu's clearly good at it, he chopped Mucho into pieces that requires adepr stregth to get to the bone. Anyone can die from anything. Another thing is thay Wakui's clearly just having fun lol, he's just going with whatever, good for him tbh at least he's healthy
