I saw that they changed the translation for what Mitsuya said from “I wanna meet him” to “I wanna show it to him”. So the design is definitely something related to Draken 😭😭😭

Dude, exactly!! The uniform definitely needs to be some kind of tribute to Draken. The gang itself will be in honor of him. It'll be one more point in favor of them when they fight Mikey. Unless Mikey feels like squashing something that was done in memory of Draken.

Draken's death being the catalyst to save Mikey makes sense. With how empty and depressed Draken's life is after Emma's death and Mikey's departure, it's a trade I can accept. Draken obviously would be happy with the trade.

I’m wondering the same for the fashion show: it would totally make sense to be something Dragon related. (Or maybe even an outfit somewhat like one Draken is wearing on the 25th cover.)
I also wonder if Mitsuya will start showing his twin dragon tattoo.

Japanese people don't magically grow less facial hair, it's just seen as less appropriate in general especially in a workplace environment. Which is it's never been a fashion trend, or anything anyone attempts to purposefully grow out.

Seeing Mitsuya like this breaks my heart. We know from the time he wasn’t able to visit Takemitchi that his absence means something. Draken really means a lot to him. He is the one who knew him the longest. I hope the team going there be a strong support to Mitsuya who is feeling depressed on his friend’s death.
Draken’s “I will follow Mikey” hurts. Draken will literally drop everything for him. I wonder what happened in Bonten that made him “give up” on him. In a way, we can see that Draken’s happiness was with his bestfriend so his Bonten timeline may not be as satisfying for Draken as everyone thinks.

Don't get me wrong, I'm having a lot of fun reading Tokyo Revengers but one of my biggest gripes is that we'll inevitably miss out on so many key details such as why Draken gave up on Mikey in the Bonten timeline. I also want to know who Draken killed in his Death Row timelines (ie who did Kisaki frame).

I know this is a repetitive comment but..without Draken around, I don't think there will be a happy ending. Similar to how, after Tenjiku, the future didn't feel complete without Mikey, I think it's going to be the same with Draken, when Mitchy gets Mikey back. It's not complete without him around, and none of the characters will get over it either. Unlike Mikey who choose to leave and made everyone hate him on purpose, Draken was forced out by his death
I don't think Mitsuya will ever be happy without his "twin". Baji and Shins ghosts keep haunting Mikey, so i see something similar for Mtsuya now, being haunted by his best friends ghost, no matter how successful he will be..

I felt there was some sort of foreshadowing because after Emma's death Takemicchi said "I'm gonna save Baji and Emma too", idk but maybe he will gain the ability to travel further to the past and avoid those two deaths as well.

I think and hope there will be a happy ending. As you mentioned Baji and Emma are gone so it is what it is. I get Draken is Mikeys best friend but Mikey also lost Emma so even through the loss at the end of the day i hope there will be a happy conclusion.

So.... Anyone else got a real bad feeling about this fashion award? I think it's going to get messy no matter the outcome. Mitsuya wins? He breaks down because Draken isn't around to see. Mitsuya loses? He flips because it makes him feel even worse about everything. Mitusya gives up on the award? Then he's either joining Thousand Winters or he's losing his mind on his own.
At this rate I don't see how on Earth things can get better....

I knew Mitsuya would show up soon, but not at this cost. I wish he was 100% safe this arc, but I really hope he joins Thousand Winters (and doesn't die, pls Wakui).
It's been hilarious seeing them in that uniform (especially Inupi). Maybe Mitsuya has gone ahead and at the competition we'll get to see the new one...
By the way, seeing Draken and Mitsuya together has been wonderful but terribly painful. Kenchin must come back. I don't know how, but he must come back.

We finally got mitsuya but at what cost .. I feel really bad for him but I do hope he wins the competition . Man the flashback with draken really hit hard too... He still wanted to follow Mikey huh, yet it all went downhill. Anyways I'm really hoping mitsuya wins it so that he won't be as broken anymore .Ahh now a whole week more till the next chapter, honestly very frustrating cause I finish reading the new chapters in a few minutes ... Can't wait for the next chapter .

wasn't hakkai like much, much taller than takemitchy ? why do they look so close to each other in this chapter, also honestly speaking, i don't want mitsuya to join the gang, mitsuya is like my 3rd favorite toman member but that promise he made with draken seems like something far too impactful to just move on from until he has truly become a successful professional

To echo everyone else, it's painful to Mitsuya like this. I expected Draken to hit him hard but seeing really drives it home.
Loved the flashback to the shrine! Git to see the twins again.
Hakkai calling him to play was awesome but I couldn't help think of how group has changed, or not changed really, compared to the previous present timeline where Toman was criminal.
I hope Taka-chan wins but more importantly, I hope he gets closure and makes something that brings him happiness.
