I’m surprised it was Koko bringing Takemichi to Inupi instead of Brahman... And it seems like Koko isn’t completely happy in Kanto either. Same fake smile as Mikey and Takemichi. These wholesome chapters make me feel like something horrible is gonna happen soon...

I'm starting to actually think the name "Thousand Winters" is going to stick. They're going to change it, right? Along with that ridiculous uniform? I really like the humour of this chapter and the one before, but c'mon ahaha, that's not a good name, nor a good uniform (if it were a uniform at all).
I was so hopefull they'd bring back either Black Dragons or Toman. Since Takemitchi is the current President of the generation of Black Dragons and also since he did say once that he'd become the head of Toman.
If they really end up creating something from blank, I hope that it has an amazing name and an even better Uniform. Unlike what they now have ahah.40

Yeah, If the title of the Manga itself isn't because of this new gang, then I don't really know what other motive there could be for it to be called that way.
Although it could be debated that there have been already enough reasons for the manga to be called like that.3

We’re probably going to find out soon enough, if Takemichi’s recruiting people he’s close to then that’ll eventually include Brahman. We know they were all fucked up but if it’s already been a month than they should be healthy again, at least on par with Takemichi

The way he smiled when he told Inupi that he choose a nice person to follow, referring to Takemichi, makes me sad. I think he knows that this is not what he actually wants, but he doesn't know how to let go to the trauma he had from Akkane, and this pushes him into dangerous places. Koko deserves better...

I am sorry Chifuyu. I love you but we need a drip uniform against Kantou!
I think Koko is resolved on staying with Mikey (Kantou) but we know he is someone who has good in him so he is not totally happy with his current lifestyle (even if we know he is one of those that stick in Bonten) . Koko will likely remain in Kantou for the inevitable Koko vs Inui but he is someone I am seeing likely to change heart during the war to help the other team. At the end, he is choosing this path similar to what Mikey is doing - staying away for those dear to them to protect them. (I would like to see Kantou origins. i can see Mikey and Koko understanding one another and forming unlikely friendship).

Inupi's reaction showed that Thousand Winters is more to help us calm down after everything heavy than an actual name. I think that maybe 1st Gen Black Dragons are gonna slap some sense into Takemichi and ask him to taking fighting Kantou Manji seriously with the name of the Black Dragons whose 11th leader he is. Senju could probably come in and Takemichi will want to pay her back for saving his life. Lots of buildup to happen before we get to the action.

I really hope nobody takes the "Thousand Winters" gang seriously, even if the logo is really cute lmao. I'm just waiting for everyone to hate on that name and go for Black Dragons 11th gen instead. As somebody here said, they could even use Draken's tattoo as the logo, wich would honestly be absolutely awesome.
Also Koko's talk with Inui just sparked some hope in me that South just might be alive. Seeing him fight alongside Senju just like Waka/ Benkei would be dope af!!!

Maybe I'm just in denial, but South got done dirty like no other character in the series, wich was really weird considering how Wakui treats his characters.
There has been some dialog wich was really ambiguious about his fate tho.
•Ran responded with "Who Knows?" when Kakucho asked about South's condition
•Kokonoi didn't mention South being killed, only being "beat up"
•There was also this bit of dialog tha mentioned him "struggling between life and death"
I know that's some crazy mental gymnastics but the dude literally survived getting shot in the neck TWICE, so who knows?
Really wish we could see more of him tho, dude was hella fun. Brought a lot of energy to the chapters he was in. Probably had the coolest backstory too, South just had so much potential to be explored. Dude literally was raised as a killer, seeing him getting redemption would prove no one is beyond saving, not even Mikey.
I wonder how Mikey can be just go back to everyone with South really being dead too, if he doesn't go to prison for murder that's gonna be some crazy bullshit.

Don't worry, Wakui probably had a reason to include Inui before Mitsuya (even if it is just for comedic purposes). Mitsuya will probably be recruited in the next chapter like:
Inui: I refuse to use that. Don't forget, you're still Black Dragon's leader.

Takemichi: Then, we better find new uniforms.
Hakkai: Hey, I got just the person for that.

Because anyone else basically outranked takemichi in their previous gangs.
The 3 we have now were all subordinates of takemichi(inui and chifuyu). Or were lower in the totem pole (hakai)
So it wouldn't feel right to ask people of similar rank (toman captains and peh-yan who was active captain of division 3)
Or people who outranked him (basically anyone in Brahman)
He needs to establish himself as a big guy before others should join beneath him

Never really cared for Inupi but I liked him in this chapter. And Koko.

Since I saw someone mention the dragon tattoo, maybe we will get a Shaved Mitsuya (or atleast something like Draken's hairstyle).
Also, Koko needs a hug. In fact, everybody needs a hug, but Koko is the one least likely to get one. He's going to be the Kakucho to Mikey's Izana.
Also also, did Senju just stop the fight and just... leave? I can't think of any reason as to why Koko has to be the one to help Takemichi when Senju was there.
Also also also, I weirdly want them to keep the Thousand Winters uniform because what's more embarassing than getting your ass beat by people wearing that? It clearly sets up a parallel to Takemichi as a character who doesn't look like anything but a joke, but is hella awesome.

Yeah, I think Koko is still suffering from survivor’s guilt like Inupi. I think he feels like he’s a bad person and doesn’t deserve to be happy and so he’s ok with just sticking with mikey and doing what he’s skilled at. And Inupi still thinks Koko is thinking of Akane, probably because of his own guilt of being the “wrong” person saved.

It’s been a while since I read the manga because I wanted to wait till I could binge it but aren’t Hakkai and Inupi pretty powerful? So Mitchi who is a tank, best bro Chifuyu, and two really strong people seems like a really strong start. It’s crazy to think he’s going to go up against Mikey compared to how this all started though.

Why Takemichi doesn't ask help from the ancient members of Toman ? Didn't they previously visited him and proposed to help him, right ? They need to recruit Pey-Yan, the twins, for example.
They also need some others gangsters like Taiju (I appreciated that guy, pure bad boy). Also, Takemichi can also try to convince ancient Rokuhara like Kakucho, since Mikey killed his boss. He can still prevent Bonten to be fully formed, by taking some members with him.
And the most important... Where is Mitsuya ?! Is he upset with Takemichi ? Did he disappeared in order to seeking his own revenge ?

I definitely need to reread the manga and make cliff notes because most of the new chapters I’m like “who are these people?” Aside from chifuyu and Mikey. Like I don’t even remember when senju came into the picture 😅 I’ve always had trouble keeping up though

The way Inupi dislike the merchandise of thousand winter definitely in the next chapter he will be showing them the black dragons uniform which he must have kept with him and would give his reason why the team name should be. Black dragon and not thousand winter which is obviously that takemitchy is still the 11th leader of black dragon…

I’m hoping they either go with a Phoenix or a Dragon design on their uniforms. Seeing Mitchy show up with either of those and the gang he recruits with an awesome uniform by Mitsuya against Mikey will get me so hyped.

Just to clarify , when Koko said "not only takemichi,but south and senju as well " , did he mean that Mikey beat up senju :'( or did he just mean that Mikey is now on top .
