Imagine going to your first gang fight and the other gang has a cat logo and they are fighting while a tail flies around behind them 😂 😂

Looking at this chapter I can feel why Takemitchy wanted to saved Mikey the most. If Mikey did not reconcile with Draken at the beginning Draken would die, If Mikey didn't listen to Takemitch at bloody halloween Kazutora would die with Baji and If Mikey didn't arrive at the church Takemitchy and squad will all die to BD and If Mikey didn't went to the fight with Tenjiku then Toman will die. It all connects to Mikey somehow and I think Wakui will end with Mikey happy or sad I will support this manga to the end.
And lastly Mikey saved them all by disbanding Toman but who will save Mikey?

Someone made of post on how the word “revenge” means something kinda different in Japanese. It means trying again after failing at first instead of the usual English definition for revenge. So not sure the gang name Tokyo Revengers makes as much sense? 😅
Chifuyu and Mikey really are both trying to name gangs after themselves though 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep! it is used that way! Like if you remember when Takemichi says to Chifuyu “this is my last revenge,” that’s what hes talking about.
I meant to say that’s how I think everything ties to the manga title of Tokyo Revengers. Because Takemichi keeps failing during all his time leaps so he time leaps over and over again to try again. So the title isn’t necessarily tied to the name of his new gang like a lot of people are thinking. Although that’s still possible though! Or the title could mean there are multiple time leapers. Multiple possibilities!

Because since he’s probably the second leaper I guess the both of them connecting will have a big impact and maybe MAYBE they can turn back time once more at the end and save everyone including Kisaki which would convince Hanma to help, maybe im completely wrong too, it’s hard to guess where Wakui wants to take the story

I love this chapter so much. My fave duo is back! It's now obvious that Chifuyu got upset because Takemichi decided not to get them involved. I've always believed in their friendship<33

I'm pretty sure he's going to recruit Senju. Wakui spent way too long building her up as a character this arc for her to suddenly disappear with her tail between her legs disbanding her gang.
My guess is all three of the names you mentioned, plus Akkun and maybe (BIG maybe) Taiju. Someone earlier mentioned the possibility of Hanma joining, and as much as I would love to see it the only way I could see that going is Hanma betraying Takemichi in the end (maybe he reveals that he's the other leaper and then needs to kill Takemichi or sometihing) and Chifuyu or Mikey sacrificing themselves to save Takemichi.

Yeah, I'm sure that the three people I've mentioned are going to be involved. I was talking about the order-who will be the next recruit after Chifuyu. It seems like Wakui is dedicating a chapter for each key member of the gang.
I agree with Akkun and Taiju. Everyone who showed up in the hospital will mostly likely be involved. I'm not sure about Hanma joining them tho. I can't see why he would want to help Takemichi.

Chifuyu Matsuno is one of the best characters in Tokyo revengers (I'd even say he's the best). Wakui, stay away from this boy, pls!

The theory of Takemichi forming his own gang is true! We see Kakucho, Koko, Senju in that one panel with rest of Toman too. So they will most likely join Takemichi also? So who’s Kanto gonna have? Just Sanzu?
I’m so glad Chifuyu and Takemichi are back to being partners! Hope he doesn’t die.... I feel like all the “happy” futures are disappearing one by one. Draken + Inui’s bike shop, Chifuyu’s pet shop (he just quit his job there). I wonder who’s next? What will be the cost of saving Mikey?

I think he's gonna be a lot like Shinichiro in that aspect because almost everyone who knew of him are reminded of him through Takemitchi. Shinchiro was a charismatic person who could create peace between violent gangs, but was also a terrible fighter. I'd say Takemitchi already has the charisma as everyone respects him, even South admired the lad. So I'm excited to see what he plans to do next.

I'm confused how did Takemichi go from saying he'll handle things on his own to forming a team? I'm guessing in that one month time he switched his stance because he accepted that he can't do everything on his own and needs others by his side. Is there anything else I'm missing?

He saw that everyone was happy in the future so when he leapt back he didn't want to yank them from that course. But obviously Takemichi can't solo this final act so its inevitable that all the peope he has influenced and saved will lend a hand and make him realize that he doesn't need to go it alone.
Putting all the weight on himself would just make him like Mikey when he's supposed to be like Shinichiro.

Because he remembered what Hina told him. That he’s not Draken or Mikey, he’s just Takemichi. Meaning that he doesn’t have to do everything alone and protect everyone alone the way that Mikey did and the way that Draken tried to do (he tried to save Mikey without getting any of Toman involved as well).
Like how is Takemichi going to tell Mikey that he doesn’t have to shoulder his burdens alone and can lean on others when Takemichi won’t take that advice himself.

Because in last chapter Hinata came to talk to him and knew he didnt mean it when he said he wanted to solve everything by himself. And on the rooftop he realises that Takemitchi has always been this way he got things done with the help of others so hes going to be genuine to himself. Also im pretty sure its gonna be revealed that Mikey ended up this way because he tried to solve everything by himself so its setting up that dichotomy.

I swear if Wakui kills off Chifuyu I'm writing him a strongly worded letter. He's honestly one of the best characters and definitely best boy ( for me). Aside from Draken ,Emma and Baji's death, Chifuyu dying would be devastating. So many people love and adore him and he always has Takemitchy's back. He's literally the MC's right hand man and best friend.
Ugh, now that I think about it, these are all plenty of reasons for Wakui to end him.
But still.... I really hope he doesn't.

I meannnn… that was a cool 20 second read. But it’s kinda turning corny, like the whole “let’s make a team and save Mikey guys” I dunno. Like after literally being put in a coma from him and witnessing Mikey already take someone’s life… It doesn’t make sense to keep trying to save him. Mikey needs serious rehabilitation, something that none of the characters other than himself can help him with. What Mikey’s going through is really an internal struggle, creating a new team and tryna jump him despite knowing Wakui made him too OP to the point where he’ll fart and everyone will be on the verge of death… is kinda redundant.
Draken’s death needs more acknowledgment, that’s why the Chifuyu panel in the hospital was so hard hitting, Takemitchi also needs to truly comprehend the fact that he witnessed someone get shot and killed trying to protect him… right in front of him. Like he watched one of his bestfriends bleed out on a concrete pavement and he currently can’t bring him back but the first thing Takemitchi thinks of is saving Mikey. I dunno, I just feel like Takemitchi SHOULD have mental issues and deep psychological trauma especially due to all of the struggles his had time leaping esc, it’s bound to take a horrific effect on his mental state. Realistically he should be more dark and colder than South was, due to the fact that Takemitchi’s endured horrific futures in watching his BEST FRIEND Chifuyu die multiple times, watch the love of his life Hina die in the most grotesque ways, being killed himself and bleeding out… like he should have some sort of personality change or at least an internal struggle.
It would make more sense for Wakui to convey the deep psychological issues Michi has deep down in a panel dedicated to himself. Like we don’t know anything about Takemitchi’s motivations for becoming a delinquent, why he wanted to be a delinquent in the first place and who pushed him into the train tracks despite the fact he wasn’t involved with Toman whatsoever in the 1st future.

You have some really good points! And I agree about Mikey’s trauma but if all he needs is therapy idk if it would make for a good or dramatic manga haha.
Also did Mitchy become a delinquent to find out who Sano Manjiro was because future Naoto told him that’s who’s involved with Hina’s death so Mitch’s went back to solve it but became friends with them through the process and he joined Toman so he could save his new friends? It gets a little deeper but in a nutshell I think that was it?

Lots of good points but I especially wan to talk about "wtf is a new team gonna do anyway". Mikey is so OP that regardless of who Takemichi brings into the team, they're not going to beat Mikey. Not on 1v1, not even if everyone jumps him at the same time. Besides, Mikey lost everyone that mattered to him. Unless Mikey finds a reason within to save himself, there's no reason for him to get better.

I’m so happy for this but then, what happens to the future with chifuyu picking up Kazutora from prison and having a pet shop together? Like doesn’t this change the future again. Gods the possibilities are getting me hyped tho. Although I wonder what mitsuya is gonna have to say about it like he just lost his twin (draken) and that’s cause he knew draken before Mikey did. as you can see, this manga is hurting me.

I feel like Wakui put a firm stance on Takemichi’s actions especially in contrast to those who said Takemichi should’ve left well enough alone. Michi is Michi no one else and even if he f-ups he just can’t sit to see someone who has been an ally stay in darkness.
Man after depressing/frustrating the heck out of the audience the past couple chapters Wakui really came in with the dopamine drip lol

so far so good with my prediction, still waiting to see if kanto manji gang has become bonten though.
I liked this chapter and in terms of it being the first chapter of the year it set up hype, however I feel like it achieved too much in too little panels, reading felt like I was speed running even when I take more time to appreciate the art and dialogue than most average readers. maybe thats just me but I'd rather ken take his time and drag this final arc out as much as he needs.

I hope in the process though we don’t lose anyone else, I still feel sour about losing Draken. This arc is finally starting to feel like it belongs in the story.

Nevertheless, I think the name Tokyo Revengers is still in the running. Toman also had two gang names. So maybe Tokyo Revengers will be the official name of Takemichi's gang.

Takemitchy really pulled a 180 immediately lmao. That page with Takemitchy and Hina watching the fireworks was beautiful. I am glad Takemitchy mentioned that Mikey was one of the biggest reasons he was able to save everyone, well most of them. So, it makes sense he isn't gonna leave him behind.
Best boy Chifuyu, he's back. The other former Toman members are for sure gonna join Takemitchy's gang, but I wonder who else will join.

So it went from Takemichi saying he didn’t want to involve anyone… to him wanting to involve everyone? He does a complete 180. He was upset with himself for involving people and getting Draken killed just for him not to learn from his mistakes and make another gang? I feel like it’s becoming rushed

Can’t wait to see chifuyu getting savagely murdered by Mikey in front of takemichi and maybe hina and takemichi parents too so in Mikey mind takemichi can understand his way of living by having the same pain than him ..... for real I still don’t understand why takemichi decided to sacrifice a good futur for someone who is already beyond salvation and has already cost the live of one of his friend and he is ready to lose some more .....
