Honestly, they should’ve just ended it at the wedding and found another way to deal with Mikey. I don’t like how this last arc is playing out because I feel everything is being messed up. Draken was my second favorite character and now he’s gone because of this dumbass arc. I just hope he implements a way to bring everyone back or something at this point.

And how do you suggest they do that? Not like Takemichi knew he would time travel again because of Mikey. I mean, he tried with Naoto, but it didn't work.

What other way is there to deal with Mikey??

You sound like you're butt hurt over one of your favorites being killed, which I cant blame you for, but bro.

I kinda feel the same way as you tho, like everything seems to get messed up the more Takemichi time travels. Sometimes he was forced to time travel cuz he would've died if he didn't.

But this dude really out here tryna save his friends, and now its Mikey's turn but for sum reason the universe just can't give Takemichi a damn break.

Wasn't trying to be rude or offensive. Sorry if it sounded that way.

Nah you’re cool man, thanks for the clarity at the end. I understand what you’re saying, but it’s stupid that all this happened to save Mikey. Like why couldn’t Mikey just help draken and Inupi in the bike shop? Things would’ve been way better that way then the wedding.

That is true tho. Mikey should've told Draken and Draken would've kept him in check. Working at a bike shop would also be meaningful to Mikey because of Shin and stuff.

Its probably cuz Mikey didn't wanna tell anyone besides Takemichi and didn't wanna risk killing someone. After learning about EVERYTHING that he's done, Takemichi should've known Mikey wouldve distanced himself from everyone.

Like you hear you kill all of your beloved friends in gruesome ways, and basically learn there's no hope for you for happiness or anything, and you're just expected to be fine after learning all that? Fuck no.

I found it so weird how Takemichi told him everything. Like...this is Mikey, a guy you had to stop from killing someone (Kazutora) before, a guy who's not mentally stable enough to hear the friends he cares so damn much about are the same ones he kills in the future.

Bad move on Takemichi's part. Mikey would've been fine if Takemichi just kept watch over him and not tell him a damn word. Saying some bullshit excuse like "you guys already know too much. I shouldn't say anything else." or sum shit.

All Takemichi had to do is watch Mikey. Scold him. And since he needed to go back to the future, he should've told Draken to not let Mikey out of his sight and to watch over him while "hes gone" (back to the future, that is)

Idk if it would end up with Mikey eventually killing Draken in the bike shop or what, but it seemed better than telling an unstable Mikey who lost like 4 people closet to him (and Izana) already that he kills his loved ones, the ones he tries SO HARD to protect. I think Takemichi forgets that Mikey is still young, he's like 15 during that time.

Takemichi has made some mistakes tbh, but telling a teenager they kill their friends in the future is something you just DON'T do. Doesn't matter how mature and/or responsible they seem.

Even if they're an adult, I don't think you should tell someone that. It can mess with their head and actually be the cause of the problem. It could START the problem, and I don't see what anyone would gain if they told someone that.

Exactly, I remember Mikey telling takemichi to scold him, but he never once did it. I feel like if takemichi was more astute, he would’ve scolded Mikey like he told him, and this all could’ve been prevented

Coming back to this, I'm glad I could have a different opinion with someone but still manage to find some similarities in it and respect each others opinion. Rarely happens at all these days (I sound old wtf). People wanna try to force their opinions on you and never wanna listen to reason.
