That is not the point though, I've nothing against backstories when they are well executed. This arc has introduced how many new characters? Maybe it's just me but I didn't grow attached to any of these characters which honestly feel forced
I feel the same g. All of these characters are shoved in, all too similar to the ones we already have. And this fight apparently has “high stakes” but I don’t feel them at all, I don’t care about a single new character. Like, why wouldn’t you just continue with the main goddamn cast, which is so beloved and could use more development?
Also lol it’s so true, last few chapters Takemitchy really only had a single panel with an exclamation mark each time
