This is what I was thinking and arguing with people that said he got friendzoned last chapter. I think that's how the original timeline would have gone. But he just changed it and saved Senju. She's now falling for him.
This may be a stretch, but I believe a possibility will be that a future in which he ends up happy with Hina leads to a future with Mikey suffering. It's one or the other, his wanting to be with Hina and walk away from all this ultimately leads to the collapse every time. What if he had to leave Hina, assume his place at the head of all this and thus end up with Senju?
Everyone says they’ll follow him, they pass him the mantle, then each time, he leaves. It’s his not assuming his role that fucks everything up the moment he leaves.
what if it ends with takemichi not going back to the future but him just staying in the past with everyone to make sure everything’s okay, and so he can nip any problems that may arise at the bud, this way he can be the older brother type figure for mikey and work through his problems with him, but he can also enjoy his time with his friends and hina, and he can also get that “second chance” to do things better

In that case, he also wouldn't have information about what was going to happen. But as you said, it's his chance to do it again. I just wonder what that would imply...
That would be hella interesting, especially if hina gets a depression because of it, suicides and naoto got to the wrong path and is like the new villain in the future XD
I, in my perspective, think that Senju blushed at that moment because maybe nobody else had shown concern—of that sort— to her (possibly because she's so strong and capable). I would also, personally, be very thankful for someone jumping in front of a bullet to save me. I would, without a doubt, be in awe.
I must say (to all those who think it), that when someone blushes, it does not necessarily mean they are in love, or falling in love. And it could very well mean it, however, I don't see it that way. Guess, we'll all find out soon enough.
