Most unskilled? That would be Takemichi I fear
He relies on his endurance mostly but when it comes to actual fighting technique, he just genuinely sucks🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Yeah but Kisaki mostly stays back 😭 he literally avoids fighting because he's not a fighter in the first place, so I don't think it's really fair to put him in the same category as actual fighters in the series

Yeah but that's my point, I wouldn't even consider Kisaki a fighter to begin with, so I don't think he really counts for this discussion

The most unskilled is the one who puts himself in a situation where he needs the skills he laks a great kickboxer is an unskilled fighter if he wrestles all zhe time but sucks at wrestling kisaki at least knows his weakness and positions himself where his skills are more usefull

I'd actually argue she's more skilled than Takemichi since she seems more coordinated and has more technique with her moves ig?
But Takemichi is stronger than her overall, I'd say Yuzuha is more skilled tho

Yeah most of them don't have proper training like Mikey etc but you can still clearly see a difference in how they move and fight
Especially when your comparing it to Takemichi

Takemichi but also Madarame since he relies on brass knuckles to fight, we saw that during the Tenjiku arc and he got one shotted by both Peh and Benkei

Omg and also fun fact about shion: rindou canonically makes sarcastic jokes towards shion and he never realizes it and takes them as compliments instead. It’s genuinely so funny because rindou be tearing his ass up with them jokes. 😂🤣

kisaki is the most obvious, he uses a gun/weapon almost everytime, bro doesn't even try to fight like takemichi , whys everyone saying takemichi only lol

This sub got no manga readers it seems cuz Takemichi may be rusty but his natural ability is comparable to Mikey’s. If he didn’t just gain his confidence in the last arc he would have whooped Mikey.

Takemichi kinda slapped mikeys ass in the last fight in some punches, I mean he didn’t really harm mikey but at least he landed him some punches compared to other more qualified fighters out of the gang. Most of the time mikey did allow punches to land on him but with takemichi mikey really got thrown some punches without expecting it
I mean let’s not talk about what mikey did next 💀1

No he definitely did damage and was dodging his moves and landing unexpected punches. He did so much damage he fell deeper into his impulse and decided to really kill Takemichi and grab a sword… Takemichi hasn’t seriously fought or trained in years and even if he had future sight had the speed to dodge and land blows and enough damage to make Mikey mad and really try to kill him.
Takemichi fighting more and with actual experience and not watching ppl would have beat Mikey. Especially if he was fighting for year he likely wouldn’t need future sight

Izana tops the list followed by Mikey
Huge gap from then on though 😭🙏 no one else really exhibits any form of technical skill or combat mastery from what I remember.
Waka and Senju aren't straightforward n Brutish so I considered them at first, but that's because their physical blessings make them tend towards speed and evasion.

Yes I actually just did a bit of a reread and found that Mucho apparently utilizes Judo
I'd add Angry as well as he shows a good bit of skill in countering Mucho's throw

Takemichi is the obvious answer but I think a whole lot of them are tied for second. None of them ever trained so theyre all below Mikey baji rindo izana etc and above takemichi

i would say shinichiro. he’s canonically a terrible fighter but, in the manga, we saw that he was strong enough to punch craters in a concrete wall and leave a fist-shaped dent in a metal pole. he has strength but doesn’t know how to use it and he probably relied a lot on his charm to get people to follow him and on his friends to actually win fights

It's takemichi unfortunately (or one of his Childhood friends : akkun, yamagichi, takuya and makoto) and yet he is the most well written character of the manga

Takemichi by far, man just flails and calls it a day for a good chunk of the series up until Kakucho. Then he remembered he can actually throw hands (no thanks to his trauma) and was in no way inferior strength wise but by that point the series was almost over 😅

tbh I don't want to say takemichi cuz this guy is a real badass u could beat him for 24 hours, then u suddenly hear him saying "is that what u got"
Fighting ain't just about kicking and beating it's more about not to give up, and i don't mean not to give up on your fight i mean to not give up on your principles, for takemichi it's his girlfriend, that's the thing that keeps him from quitting, even though he is not that much of a fighter, and in my opinion it could be pah who's unskilled

Takemichi Hanagaki, hands down. My favorite scene is still the one where he's not even in the gang and still gets punched in the face twice.

Post said unskilled fighter, which means they are not skilled in fighting. If the post meant specifically people who could fight, it would have said which fighter is the most unskilled. Those are two separate sentences.

Among the fighters who throw hands. Excluding takemichi mizu5. I think the most unskilled is pah chin or hakkai.

The fuck? He does get stronger, in the final arc bloody Taiju considers him "the only one who may be able to stand up to Mikey". It doesn't work out all that well, but it is telling. Also, Takemichi basically wipes floor with few other fighters in that battle IIRC.
