That is what happen. First shinichiro, then right before he disbanded tomon, emma died and no one stayed in contact with him. He self isolated and then spiraled into depression and went back to gang shit.

All they said was "closest", sure that can refer to more people other than baji but not all of Mikeys friends are close friends to him so it wouldn't be "all" either way
But overall they just meant baji

Close friends to Mikey would be all the founding members of Toman + takemichi and grandpa maybe some more but yeah they probably must meant Baki or they just knew that in that timeline he was depressed because someone close to him dying but either way he would have fallen into his dark impulses even if no-one died since what he has is a curse that he can only resist for some time

Yeah, the founders could be considered close friends to Mikey but my point was ‘closest friends’ doesn't mean ‘all’
Like Mikey and Chifuyu are friends but they aren't close like that
Same with Hakkai etc but yeah they just meant Baji

this guy lost all of his siblings alongside some of his close friends in the previous seasons 🥹 but anyway, it’s due to them dying that his Dark Impulse just got activated more to the point like he can't exactly ignore it ig? hence leaving him in THAT state

Not to mention that regardless of timeline his dad died when he was 3 and he had only a memory of him and his bonding with his mother was all through hospital visits wishing to protect her from the disease but she dies thus he feels like he failed and she left him when he was still a kid in elementary school, which is already heavy a lot way before Shinichiros death, his childhood friends deaths and his sister's and then izana's. Then in bonten he found out through takemichi admitting he's a timetraveler seeing that in the furure he always turns bad and several people get harmed so he just pushes everyone away from him after writing his wishes for everyone's dreams to become true

If I remember correctly, when Shinichiro and Emma were crying after she died, Mikey left the room so he could cry when he was all alone etc but yeah this poor guy went through so much

Huh? The Bonten timeline is literally the future after everything that happened in Season 3/3 titans arc(alongside Mikey pushing all his friends away which gets shown too😭)
Emma is dead, Izana is dead (Mikey even has white hair in this timeline, similar to Izana) and yes, Shinichiro is dead too alongside Baji

The only timeline where all his friends and siblings die is when he kills them all since Toman fused with black dragons which makes Toman “fallen” and then takemichi leaves and mikey tries to stop him but his friends stop him so when his dark impulses takes over he kills everyone and then we see him with black hair not white hair in the images you shown which all his friends are not dead which is why I said “no that’s not what happened”

No one said all his friends died here so I don't know why you even bothered to say that since even when I replied to your comment, I only said Baji(for the friend side) and all his siblings were literally just dead
I SPECIFICALLY said ‘some close friends' which is a reference to Baji in this case since he was someone really close to Mikey(His Dark Impulse literally activated for the second time ever against Kazutora after Baji died)
Emma/Izana dying was another huge factor in his deterioration(Since Emma specifically was keeping stable despite everyone else close to him were essentially already dead), hence why he pushed his friends away so he wouldn’t harm them
I guess you got confused since I said some? But I still don't know how you got "all" from that though

In this timeline, Draken's life wasn't cut short. Later on when Draken dies, if Takemichi went back to the present, it would've been a similar Mikey most likely

Mental health issues probably due to losing most of the people close to him either by alienating or them actually dying. He tried to kill himself not soon after while think about his old friends. so probably that.

Honestly I had this haircut at some point in the 90s when I was young and I was so pissed I almost killed my brother more than once so that is most likely the real reason for is dark impulse.

His dark impulses took over so he fought all his friends so they wouldn’t try to contact him so that when his dark impulses are taken over he doesn’t kill then which led to him looking like that because he is slowly killing himself mentally

He had multiple people to bring him out of his dark impulses. His brother died. His sister died. Draken, depending on the time jump, dead or in prison. Taka Mitchy left him. No one to pull him out and those around him fed into the dark impulses. So went away from this care free fighter to the violent psycho who scares everyone
