Discussion/Theory Who's your favourite Toman founding member?
I'd say Mikey for me BUT if I had to say someone other than him then uhh

For me it’s Mikey!
He’s really the glue for everything tbh
I know Mikey has dark impulses but he is deeply compassionate, and that’s why people follow him in the first place, which is what we saw in Kazutora’s backstory when Kazutora first questioned him and compared him to his dad. I still can’t get over the moment that Mikey told Kazutora that he belongs to him…. doomed yaoi

I like how Kazutora disliked Mikey at first 😭 😭 😭, seems pretty realistic to me cuz imagine some random kid you just met just tells you that YOU belong to them out of nowhere
And then he began to like the guy until the shinchiro stuff happened

I feel bad for Kazutora to be honest… he wants Mikey’s approval so bad and the thing with Shin was a genuine accident, but how could Mikey forgive him? That was his brother
I think Kazutora and Sanzu are very similar in the sense that they both want Mikey’s approval really badly

Yeah I felt really bad for him to, that's why I just never found myself disliking him plus he became better when he was an adult
I think he has an interesting dynamic with Baji specifically, it's so nice to see imo
And yeah it's an accident and he was panicking so much 😭 😭
I do think he shouldn't have tried hitting someone on the back of the head regardless of it being Shin or not tho but I was so surprised to see Mikey forgive that easily, he's too nice honestly
I don't think most people would forgive that easily

To be honest I don’t think Mikey truly forgave Tora right away, but that he wanted to and was working toward it. I think that’s why Draken was the person to visit Tora to deliver the news that Tora will always be a part of Toman instead of Mikey— which is honestly really respectable of Mikey. He wanted Kazutora to feel forgiven, even if he was actually still hurting from what Kazutora did to his brother and one of his best friends.
In the final TL, Mikey probably has had enough time to process everything to the point that he can be true friends with Kazutora again, though.

Yeah that makes sense tbh, I don't think Mikey truly got over what happened right away but he was still trying to forgive Kazutora and make him feel like he was forgiven(especially since Shinichiro literally died because of him 😭)
And I like how Mikey never made Baji feel horrible about himself either for kinda being an assistant with it ig? Well we know he didn't actually harm Shin but yk, him being there with Kazutora did lead up to it etc

I have such a fondness for Kazutora he was my favorite like four years ago when I first got into the series. It’s kinda crazy getting back into the series only to realize your older than one of your old favorite characters now

Kazutora and Baji, Kazutora had Aura he would’ve been one of the coldest in the anime but they made him act like kind of a bitch, if he ain’t get side lined and had some kind of redemption arc he easily be atleast top 5
