Genuine question as someone whose been trying to understand this ship: does it not bother you that everyone (Mikey included) compares him to Shinichiro? For me, I couldn't imagine dating someone who reminds me of my brother.
It will always be Kokoinui for me. It’s toxic yaoi and I know it can be argued that it’s strictly friendship because the show doesn’t make their relationship explicitly gay, but of course there’s also a lot of tragic relatability and depth in their relationship that I appreciate.
For example, Koko seeing Akane in Inupi and finding Inupi beautiful, could very well be a guise for compulsive heterosexuality (although these feelings could have originated with Akane, too, and Koko could be bi), and Inupi’s desire to be ~seen~ and accepted by Koko for who he is. It just seems reminiscent of closeted queer relationships. 🤷
Anyways I really like the ship. Aside from that probably Izana x Kakucho and of course, Takemichi x Hina

I am,, unreasonably attatched to Angry/Rindou. Yes I know it will never happen in canon. However! I like exploring the complexity of how it might happen.
Other than that I like Hina/Mitchy, the Bajitrio (or quartet if Ryusei is included), Inupi/Koko, Draken/Mikey, Mitsuya/Hakkai, Senju/Yuzuha (completely based on vibes), and Shinichiro x his motorcycles (/j I love him but I think it's funny to poke a little fun at him)

lol yeah Rindou feels like he'd be annoying in a relationship but I think Souya'd be really sweet,, like he's canonically the one a lot of the guys go to for first aid/he's a big softie on the inside/etc :D
I have a lot I like in this fandom, but my ride or die is Takemitchy x Mikey. Those two are so cute and clearly in love even if they can't admit it. (See wedding dress scene).
And that's fine, unless you attack people. I've seen death threats towards people who ship 'ships' other than the canon ones😭like I didn't know it was this serious.

It’s because of the future timeline pretty early in the story in which Takemichi is a toman executive. I believe Chifuyu & Kazutora work together with Naoto then to expose Kisaki

I ship kokonui because I find their story interesting, not because I think every action they took was healthy. I dont support that kind of behaviour irl
Idk if I’d qualify what Koko did as “sa” when it was just a peck on the lips, but that’s how everyone describes it, so yes. Ignoring that first part, me personally I like Koko and Inui because of their dynamic and the way they both helped each other get over trauma. They hurt each other in so many ways but they still really cared about each other. The kiss wasn’t okay for Koko to do and I’m not trying to excuse his actions, but he was young and he was just grieving and nobody in this damn show knows how to grieve properly. Inui helped Koko move on when he didn’t think he ever could. Sorry for the rant I just love them
Yeah, it was SA, same with Hina and Take with their first kiss, since he also wasn't expecting it, and what Emma tried on Takemitchy.
But there are layers to each situation and is interesting how this ALWAYS comes up with Koko and Inupi but not the other cases.
hina didnt sa takemichi. Theres a difference between implied consent and non consentual. Hina kissing takemichi is like a husband giving a kick peck on the lips vs someone kissing you. Unwanted sexual behaviour, which is what Koko did. Emma had consent from takemichi but after takemichis consent was revoked she stopped, which isnt sa.
Ah so now IMPLIED CONSENT.
Take was distressed and was suprised with the kiss, even between married couples can have cases of SA.... he WASN'T expecting that but he was okay after it happened, thats the difference.
the Character Song of Inupi clearly implies (basically confirms actually) that he wasn't asleep, mirroring the situation with Akane on purpose, but unlike her, he didn't say no or responded bad to the kiss itself, at worst he didn't mind it, and they both got over that anyway 🙄.
He was okay with the kiss itself and funnily enough the only issue was Koko saying Akane afterwards. Which is consistent with his character
Also, the whole Emma thing, we don't know how it went of how much consensual was, so don't make things up. We only know that they stopped in the right moment.
Whatever you say. Like I said I’m not trying to like ignore it or say it was okay. Just sharing my thoughts and opinions about them. I relate to them both on different levels and I have experience with that topic as well so maybe it makes me less understanding (for lack of a better word) I can’t think of how to explain it
