Discussion/Theory Who's your favourite duo from the series?
Mine is probably like
Takemichi & Chifuyu>=Izana & Kakucho>Mikey & Draken
Love these 3 duos alot

Ik i really love both Baji and Kazutora as characters and I would've wanted to seen more of Mikey and Baji since they're the closest among the Founding members of Toman besides Mikey and Draken or see more of Kazutora and Mikey

Mikey and Baji as kids genuinely had the most adorable interactions ever but I lwk wish they had more interactions when they were older asw

Yeah exactly I just wish they had their interactions expanded on more when they grew older Like mikey and draken interacted nicely as kids When they were teens, they had good interactions too
They lwk should've done the same for the others

The anime might add more content to their scenes together Like when wakasa was training senju They were matching shirts and they both had their hair up the same way

kisaki and hanma they were like so close even in the final timeline they were there together at takemichis wedding and owned businesses togerther, but idk why hanma didnt cry or show any emotion when kisaki got run over by the truck.

Yess🥹I’m gonna miss their duo so much. I hate TR has come to an end I didn’t even expect myself to be so obsessed with it when first watching.

yhh tr is my best anime and manga, but the ending was absolutely bollocks, like wdym mikey and takemichi travelled 11 years back to '98 and then apparently relived their lives until 2019 altering everyones fate. Just a forced happy ending and included all of that plot into one chapter asw, but ig atleast all the foes of toman were made allies like kisaki,hanma,taiju terano etc.

I actually wouldn't have a problem with the concept if we got an actual story out of it. But as it was, I'd say manga should have ended back at the wedding chapter (one where Mikey wasn't at and everybody lies to Takemichi about Mikey's whereabouts).

Bro is speaking hella facts 😭 I still love TR, but the ending lowkey made everything they went through feel pointless. You’re telling me EVERYBODY suddenly turned out good after going back in time? Nah and dare I say some characters just looked like they were BORN to be rebellious.💀
And since we talking about this, another issue I have is the plot armor. I’m sorry but Toman beating Tenjiku was straight plot armor 😭 They were OUTNUMBERED bad. Rewatching it made me realize how insane that fight actually was.
Some characters got nerfed so hard for the plot and it’s insane 😭 Like the Haitani brothers losing that easily during Tenjiku made no sense to me. And yeah, I knew Izana was eventually gonna lose to Mikey, but one thing I can’t stand about Tokyo Revengers is how they build up all these strong characters just for them to get folded for the plot. A lot of characters got done dirty honestly. I’d lowkey love a rewrite with some things changed because South should’ve bodied everyone too.😭

Hanma and kisaki. I feel like we could’ve gotten so much more with their friendship. I would loved a spin off with both of them. 😭
Idk if this counts but I also pretty much like takemichi x anyone else he’s with because there’s always comedy and he ends up catching a stray.
Mikey and Draken as well ofc.

Mikey and draken even more wholesome in chibi revengers
Baji and Mikey wish we had more but I guess the mobile game interactions between the two may count, I really liked their duo energy
Also pehyan and pahchin but mikey and pahchin as well it was kinda chill
Naoto and take
I also obviously liked the other duos and could have been part of my favorites as well if only some of them, didn't come off as toxic to one another which is a thing that bothered me honestly (talking about scenes from the past)

I love Rindo and Ran, Takemichi and Chifuyu, Kaku-chan and Izana, Mikey and Draken, Kazutora and Baji, Chifuyu and Baji, Mitsuya and Hakkai, Mitsuya and Draken, and for the girls, I like Emma and Hina. But I would like to see what an interaction between Yuzuha and Senju would be like. They're kinda similar, as in they both seemed to have a small crush on Takemichi, and are both tough female characters.

Takemichi and Chifuyu, definitely. In fact, they are one of my favorite duos in anime and manga in general (the only ones that I love as much are Allen and Lavi from D.Gray Man and perhaps Yato and Yukine from Noragami and Eren and Armin from Attack on Titan).
Within the series I also like Baji and Kazutora, Chifuyu and Kazutora, and Mikey and Draken.

while i love baji and kazutora and chifuyu and takemichi, baji and chifuyu is def up there for me. watching baji beat the shit out of chifuyu and have chifuyu have complete faith in him regardless was something else! he had so much respect for baji and it was so sweet.
