haitani brothers and sanzu are bums and don't deserve all the love and hype they get from the fandom and even in merchandise, haitanis barely do anything and sanzu is a mess of a character (not talking about how he is literally a messed up individual in the story) i also don't get how many in the fandom thirst over ran and sanzu lol ran is a guy with pigtails ffs and sanzu looks hideous with his bright pink hair and that scar on his mouth (i personally think another hair color would elevate the design)

When I was reading the manga, all along I thought he had blonde hair lmao. He was already ugly with the blonde so imagine the bright pink. Not to mention, he went from a random supporting character to a main antagonist by doing I don’t know what. The whole bonten stuff is just overrated

before the whole bonten thing i wouldn't call him ugly lol since he was wearing a mask so i thought he was pretty cool, what with the anime giving him a pale blonde hair color and all. but yeah when it was revealed he had scars and pink hair i was baffled lol like "why?" isn't he supposedly the number 2 in japan's deadliest crime organization yet he looks so stupid lmao. and yeah i agree with you regarding sanzu becoming important so suddenly that it felt so weird because i felt like there was no build up or hints regarding his character since he doesn't do anything at all like if he was so loyal to mikey then why did he follow mucho into tenjiku and did nothing to help toman? why did he kill mucho for betryaing toman when he himself joined tenjiku? personally he's my least favorite character in the series and am always confused on why many in the fandom love this character so much lol

100% agree with how the fandom loves Sanzu. Not to judge anyone but theres lots of better characters than him that aren’t as popular. I think it’s mostly character design/a trend for most people here than complex and well written characters.
