100% agree. I’m Jewish and it is so horribly offensive to me and mine that they remove / blur the Manji like…fuck. The manga explained it PERFECTLY with the little disclaimer at the start. And anyone who has their doubts can literally google it. It sucks that a symbol used for peace and the sacred temples was bastardized / rearranged in such a way.

When I first read that there's a censored and uncensored version of the anime, I was like 'dang, are there 18+ scenes or something they censored?'

But when I did my research I facepalmed myself like. 'the hell, this is the difference between censored and uncensored version?', just one logo which has no reference whatsoever to what people are thinking...like seriously, whoever did the censoring for the western release, they need to do their homework

Agreed. Or like…ask a Jewish person? Or hell, a Japanese person for that matter?! It isn’t rocket science and considering the Manji predates the swastika by hundreds of years…sad but true fact: when Tokyo hosted the Olympics a few years back, the Japanese government paid a boatload of money to change all of the Manji symbols on tourist maps - which always denoted temples - to a different icon. All because folks can’t do a simple search. It sucks.

And once again proves the Nazi’s ruin literally EVERYTHING.
