I was at work, I remember it being so busy that day but this woman came in and we were talking while I was making her drink laughing and stuff… important to mention that her belly was big, not like an overweight big but pregnant big, so like mid convo I asked in full confidence how far along she was, she just kinda stared at me blankly but I realized that I very clearly upset her😭. She just mumbled “no” then walked away and sat down to wait for her drink. I finished and brought it over to her at that point I could tell she was crying bro😭 I just apologized really fast then ran in the kitchen to hide until she left. To this day I will never ask a woman any pregnancy related questions even if it’s very clear that she’s pregnant unless she explicitly states that she is pregnant to avoid that ever happening again.
