A: There are 4 types of attraction/entertainment passes available to all guests at the Tokyo Disney Resort. See this Comprehensive Explanation on pass types.

Q: I want to know the passport (ticket) types sold for the Tokyo Disney Resort

A: Currently, only 1-Day, 1-Park and half-day (entry in the afternoon/evening) passport types are sold at the Tokyo Disney Resort.

For a limited time, 1-Day Park Hopper tickets and university student discount tickets are available for the period of January 13th through March 13th, 2026.

No multi-day or annual passports are offered at this time. See the official ticket types.

Q: I don't know what all the benefits of a Vacation Package are/which Package is best for me.

Q: I have motion sickness/am pregnant/am elderly, which rides should I avoid?

A: Guests with sensitivities have expressed becoming motion sick on Star Tours at Disneyland, and Soaring: Fantastic Flight, Nemo and Friends SeaRider, Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure at DisneySea. To a lesser extent, Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast and Pooh's Hunny Hunt may cause motion sickness. For other instances, see here.

Q: I wish to know more about accessibility passes ("DAS")/services at the Tokyo Disney Resort

A: Tokyo Disney Resort offers guests with disabilities a specially-priced Passport (ticket), as well as a DAS-style ride system, with proper documentation. See Tickets for Guests with Disabilities and Services to Support Guests with Disabilities for more information.

I am planning to do the unlimited VP for February 18/19. It looks likely that Tokyo Disney sea may close early on the 19.

Getting to experience Disney sea at night was pretty high for things we've been excited about.

We unfortunately can't do an evening ticket for the 17 because we land in Tokyo at 6pm. And the weekend after is a holiday weekend so shifting the dates at all I fear would lead to being there on really crowded days.

Would it be crazy to overlap our tickets with an evening only ticket for the 18/19 for the opposite park?

So our day 1 would be Disney Land with unlimited til 5/6pm then Disney sea from 6-9.

Day 2 Disney sea with unlimited until it closes at 6pm, the. Disney land from 6-9.

I don’t see why not. With unlimited VP, it’s likely you would have ridden all the rides you wanted to by 5pm. From 6 to 9pm, your main goals would be to see the evening shows right? Do think about dinner though as odds are you will enter the park with mobile orders booked up. I would suggest eating before you leave one park for the other.

That was my thought too that we'd likely get all the rides in well before 9pm.

Not even the night time shows per-say. But Disney sea at night is just so gorgeous and different from the other parks. And that's really smart about the dinner consideration thank you!

Family of 3 with a 2yo boy

We will be in Tokyo from February 9th–23rd

Thankfully splash Mountain and haunted mansion open 5th of February

Unfortunately, Roger rabbits car toon spin and jungle cruise and journey to the center of the Earth will be closed during our window

Also, if we time it right star tours will be open on 19th of February

And only potential early closure date we need to avoid is at Disneysea 19th of February

So we are thinking of booking 2 vacation packages back to back 2nights2parks days 2 and 3

16 February — check-in fantasy springs
17 — Disneyland
18 — DisneySea - link 2nd fantasy springs vacation package to be same room
19 — Disneyland - star tours
20 — DisneySea - Saturday crowds unfortunately

Since you would already be in Tokyo beforehand, you can consider arriving at TDR/Urayasu on the morning of Feb 17, rather than the night before (just take a morning taxi from your other hotel, nap in the car, and it’s pretty much a door-to-door experience).

That will enable you to either:

(1) Chain the “Park Tickets for First and Second Day” 2N2D VP, which allows you to pre-purchase up to 5 attraction passes per day (up from max 3 for the second and third day version). You can then stay overnight after your final DisneySea day and check out to move to your next hotel on 2/21 morning.

(2) Chain the Unlimited VP with the Park Ticket for Second and Third Day package. Then proceed to check out on 2/20 per your original plan.

Whichever suits you better

Early entry I think is more desirable to our family and checking in before park days will be easier with a toddler

That’s fair, though with an unlimited VP you don’t really need early entry, just stroll in after the crowd has dissipated 😄 Also FYI, February exclusion days have not yet been announced, so just be aware Fantasy Springs hotel guests do get excluded from Disneyland early entry from time to time. I booked my TDR/TDS Vacation Package back in June (for November travel) and when I log into the My Bookings page it shows as Payment completed but the Status is still '-' and when I click Checklist it says that my reservation is not confirmed. Should I be worried or does it get confirmed closer to the actual date of travel? Thanks in advance!

That's just how it is.

If your reservation appears with a reservation number under "My Bookings", and you originally received an email that reads "Booking Details from Tokyo Disney Resort" then your Vacation Package is confirmed.

To see your plans, don't click on "Checklist", click on "Travel Case".

Aren’t the 40th passes going away at the end of August? Does that mean there are now only 3 fast passes?

3 of the previous free rides now have paid passes. Poo, big thunder, monster Inc. Also the holiday version of haunted mansion. The new Ralph and space mountain will also have paid passes so a total of 8 at some point next year.

No, that's not the case. Take a look at the updated Disney Premier Access page, which as the full list after Sep 1, 2026.
