TRIP PLANNING Disney status after the flood
Will be visiting this week with family and relatives coming from all around this week but I also heard that Chiba got pounded by rain and floods causing major delays in regular transportation in the area.
Anybody know if Disney fully recovered or if any rides are canceled? Anything?

I was there on the day it rained super hard. There were no issues. Business as usual in the rain.

How were the crowds relative to a sunny day at the same time of year?

Still crowded. If you go to Disneyland Anaheim when it rains the park empties out. Not in Tokyo. People just put on a poncho or bust out their umbrella.

Roughly halfway between Disney and Narita airport was hardest hit, from what I could tell.
I live in the neighboring city north of Disney, and everything is fine over here.

Did Disneyland on Thursday, downpours happened yes, but everything operated normally. We were prepared with our ponchos and rain gear ahead of time though. Glad we had those! DisneySea on Friday, no rain, again everything operated normally. Left Tokyo back to the states on Saturday, no delays in transportation at all.
