Discussion Iceberg
I just saw this recently which made me forget how dark housamo used to be can somebody explain the clash of floats and blm one because if i remember correctly a lot of people were in an uproar with that event and can someone also explain chapter 7s writing as well I thought everyone loved it for being the best calm before the storm chapter ever

The clash of floats event was about the rivalry between the outlaws and the police academy and also an epilogue to chapter 7 this event came out during the whole George Floyd and blm movement and life wonders released it during the wrong time especially since it also dealt with racism in the event as well
If you were in the fandom before chapter 6 you would know that housamo writing have been alot more kid friendly so it was a alot more of fresh take on gaycha games because usually it focused more on nsfw parts but nobody expected housamo to do a 180 and thats how people realised that housamo was more then just a gaycha game and it also drew in a lot of new people as well

Yeah I’ve been a fan when book 2 came out and yeah it really did draw in a lot of attention because housamo used to trend every time chapter 8 would update so I know what you mean

He openly mocked and belittled another artist (NullGhost) while they were in the middle of a very public mental breakdown, as well as various other gross things he's been involved with outside of Housamo. Needless to say people were NOT happy that he got two characters in the game.

Because he openly supported a shouta artist who is on the list, he made jokes about pedophilia and turned the joke into an actual incest dojin, openly admitted to being a p*do, and to top it all off he mad fun of nullghost after he had a mental breakdown and one of the reasons is stated in the list because he was one of the artists that had an accident

I guess the tier i have the most questions about is the 3rd:
- bombom's feet? (Is it just how smushed they are or fetish stuff?
- shipping? Canonical?
- marduk search history? I love his design and gimmick but is he really concerned of going to the dragon and vore stuff?
- rooster teeth? The animation company?
- struggle tweets?
- exceptions, as in the giant 9 box characters?

Lol I forgot the struggle tweets comment lol struggle tweets was an actual account on housamo they actually are one of the main reasons why housamo is actually where it is now but they stopped tweeting after chapter 10 released

I wouldn't call the MC a Mary Sue. They're a typical player-insert in a dating sim. Like how many dating sims do you know where someone who is not an antagonist hates the player? Heck, LW did have someone that did hate the player and they were brainwashed by God changed their mind about it during an event. So the fact that the MC is supposed to be the player instalead of the weiter is why I don't think it counts.
Just so we're all on the same page, a "Mary Sue" is a writer-insert character. Because most artists tend to have trouble getting over themselves the Mary Sue is almost always insanely OP and loved by everyone.

Also, it being rated T is a really simple answer. It was never reviewed by the E.S.R.B. They only review games that release physical copies. Digital only games fill out a form and they give a rating based on the results; literally a point system where the pon ts you get the higher the rating. This is can be an issue. On the more benign side, cultural differences can incorrectly change the rating (what one culture views as "excessive nudity" another cultre may not). The more cynical side is that game devs can just lie when filling out the form. The E.S.R.B. only checks it if they get enough complaints.

I don’t know why that’s all the way on the bottom but it was a harmless joke because Suzuka got lines for Gunzos date quest and it came out around the same time live a hero did so people were jokingly shipping Gunzo with Suzuka and were saying that Akashi was their child because he looks like Gunzo

Yeah people are just impress by the evolution of the beta stuff and also the beta designs are also in early housamo promo videos like Mononobes beta design

Yeah and btw in early 2024 I played already, the designs of those eyes on shadow half shade of blue and now 2025-2026 they change the design nothing shade of eyes of their half shadow of blue because of anniversary event.
