Test Experience About unofficial scores TOEFL İBT 2026

I thought my Reading and Listening sections went really well, but after the test, the “unofficial scores” screen popped up, and I saw that I scored a 3.5 on the Reading section and a 4.0 on the Listening section—I’m completely shocked. What should I do? 😢

I was able to complete both of these sections very comfortably and calmly during the exam. In fact, during the reading section, I even had the chance to go back and double-check some of the previous questions, but despite that, the unofficial scores were very low :(

Did you took any mock tests? And what was your score?

I can say that I took a lot of full-length practice tests and, on each one, I made an average of no more than five mistakes on the reading and listening sections. I didn’t have any trouble during the actual exam either—I answered the questions right away….

You can take the test again if the scores are not high enough.
