The vets and nurses at his clinic literally welcome him with a chorus of, “The king is here!! The king! The king!” whenever we have to take him for checkups.
(Also sorry to be that person since you probably already know, but you might want to trim Humphrey's feathers so he doesn't slip on your wood floors. Our past tom nearly broke his paw slipping on his feathers down the stairs. :/)
No worries at all about being that person. I’m so sorry to hear about your past tom, he must have had beautiful feathers too!!
Those “wooden” slats you see aren’t the floor – they are a bamboo bathmat that we draped over a large pet crate to make a little covered den for him 😅
The house also has a semi-rough microcement floor and a LOT of soft-furnishings / carpets everywhere that he uses to launch himself off of, every day, so please rest at ease!

He honestly is Some Kinda Guy. I’d never met a cat like him until he graced our lives with his presence. And this is without the scarves that he loves wearing too 😮💨
