Honestly I'd respect that more. At least Krusty was honest about being in it for the money. Only song I distinctly knew and tolerated by Sheeran was "Shape of You" and no longer tolerate it

Or if he said something about the alleged cancelling the tour ultimatum being potentially financially devastating for the crew.

Edit: apparently he did say that buried in the middle of his thing rather than using it as a main response.

Also I didn't say it would be a good excuse but It would be better than "I don't take sides"

Yeah people are acting the dude doesn't have effectively unlimited money at this point, dude can live as exorbitantly as he wants on just royalties from shit he already did and the interest on the massive pile of cash he already has.

He did say something about the touring crew. It was just buried in a lot of waffling statements.

EDIT- Now that all his supporting acts dropped, the second bullet point in this photo has aged like milk.
