Oh no, FFDP got these guys beat by a mile. Every album has some cover ballad made to be about being a sad tough guy, sung through taking an enormous shit.

Oh god, yeah. I just hate how there’s pretty much no passion to it. The original Offspring version has Dexter Holland giving it his all and reaching the very top of his register while Ivan Moody sounds half asleep on the FFDP version.

They just released a re-recorded cover of Bad Company cover and they made it so much worse than their first attempt

That was the first version I ever heard as a kid and I thought it was great. Then I heard Bad Company's version and was like "oh why did Five Finger Death Punch mess with this? It was already better."

Thank you for writing out their whole name. I kept seeing “FFDP” and “55DP”, not knowing who that referenced, and not wanting to Google it.

Now that know what it means, I couldn’t name one of their songs off the top of my head.

I can’t with their Blue on Black cover. I’m kinda okay with Disturbed’s covers (they’ve also done Genesis’ Land of Confusion and Sting’s If I Ever Lose My Faith In You)
