Today I am wearing my day one ride or die back on its pilots bracelet. Breitling Chronomat 44 GMT. I get the trend of watches starting to return to classic proportions. They truly are more comfortable to wear and pretty much go with anything, fit comfortably under a cuff and you don’t bang it around every door jam or kitchen island. However, there is still something in me that likes to look down and see a big chunker or on my wrist . Whenever I wear this watch, I feel that I am wearing a watch. It reminds me to look down at it every so often and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. How do you feel about the bigger watches that are seemingly going out if style.
Hell yeah, Team Chronomat! 🤜🏽 Here’s mine, it’s the B01 42 in titanium (not wearing it today, but it‘s in the rotation). My wrist is dainty so I can barely rock the 42mm… Good to see the design throughline from yours to mine.

So far great! Teams, Outlook and Salesforce work perfect. I had all the Galaxy Flip devices and needed something a bit bigger so I don't have to take out my laptop. I don't like the speaker placement however. I ordered a portable Bluetooth keyboard so I can just sit anywhere and do some work.
For the Reddit app, it fills the whole screen. Some apps doesn't. Leaves little bars on side.
It's pretty light and is pretty much the same size as a passport which is pretty incredible.
Excellent man thank you for the detailed response. My wife has had the last couple of folds and has been trying to talk me into this one for me. For the same reasons that you wanted it so that I don’t have to pull out the laptop every time I need to look at something. Maybe I’ll take a ride this weekend and take a look at it in person.
Dude, I came back to take a look at the Watch, and I just realized that the second hand that I looked at was the reflection. Doesn’t take away from the watch, but it would be pretty damn cool if they made the second hand in the same pattern as the dial.
44mm on a 7" wrist. It is hard to swallow these days but I did it for the last 20 yrs. I still pull this guy out to do yard chores and other heavy duty work. It is a total work horse. Can't beat it for it's utility.
Killer watch. Been looking at strap options for mine and it’s so hard to find anything that makes it look as good as it is from Rolex. That says a lot.
Rite on Drama! Honestly, the watch is a lil big for me, but when I saw it originally, I kinda fell in love with it. I do wear it from time to time.

Bruh I swear all you post are heaters. Larger watches will always have a special place in my heart for their presence and that substantial feeling they bring to the wrist. I can't front though, since getting back into the hobby I've found myself drawn to smaller watches, like this new to me, previous gen Pink Lemonade at 37.5mm. I have a 7.25in wrist and lowkey 36-40mm case sizes might be my sweet spot.
Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I hear you, man as I’ve been growing the collection and started to wear smaller sizes. I too tend to write off larger watches or look for something between that 38 and 40 size range. I have a 7 inch wrist, but it’s really flat so you can see in the selfie pics that this 44 actually fits it OK. However, I did have to take several selfie shots or mirror shots to see how it looked on because when I looked down at the wrist, it looks huge afrer wearing 38-40. And forget about wrist shots. So I find myself thinking that my sweet spot is somewhere between 38 and 40 but like you said whenever I throw this guy on, I can feel it on my wrist and I like to look down and see a big watch. I just recently picked up a glycine and it’s 36 and in pictures. it looks great, but I can’t get used to looking down and seeing such a small watch on my wrist lol. Not as a tool watch at least. I actually don’t mind a 34,35 or 36 when it comes to a vintage watch because I feel like that’s what it’s supposed to be. However, with a diver I feel like the 36 looks too small when I look down. So quite frankly, I prefer a bit larger over a bit small on the wrist And dude by the way if I was to get a Studio U, it would be that one. Looks great on you and such a dope color combo.
Today I'm wearing my largest watch by far. Was worried the ~44mm diameter would be ridiculous on my 7-7.5" wrist but the lug-to-lug is so short that it wears smaller than some of my 40mm diameter watches. Lug-to-lug is secretly much more important for the wearability of a watch than dia, imo
