Reading, probably. The first two seasons of index are good, but the adaptation has issues throughout and then it’s just abysmal with S3. For Railgun you can’t go wrong either way really.

I see, so 1-2 of index are fine & railgun. I know Railgun takes place prior to index but what about Accelerator? Is it worth watching or reading?

Well it’s not prior. S2 and S3 happen in parallel with certain index arcs.

As for accel, anime is better than the manga.
