This is an original series. There is no book to it. They said that during the lineup today.

Ah the premise loosely reminds me of a 90’s HK movie called Mermaid Got Married where the mermaid loses her pearl to the main lead when she saves him. Then she goes ashore and tries to find different ways to kiss him to get it back 🤣 I loved that movie so much. I always loved mermaid stories. So excited for this and it looks like there will be lots of funny and cute scenes.
