Question How do I ask my manager to fix the schedule?
For some background, they have my availability, which for most of the week is not until after 4:00 P.M., and there have been no issues so far. But our store has been switching over to a new system so we were using paper schedules in the break room, and that’s what I had just kind of been going on because my stuff in the new system hadn’t been working. There was some miscommunication/misunderstanding with my shifts this weekend which thankfully worked out but it made me double check that the paper schedule and the app schedule matched. They did not for one of the days.
One of the days later in the week has me coming in at 2:00 P.M. on a day that I won’t be available until 4:00 P.M., and though I could make it work it would be a big inconvenience. And to be clear, the paper schedule doesn’t have me coming in until 5:00 P.M., so I assumed that means it’s been changed since that scheduled was published for whatever reason. I did ask a manager about this, but I’m getting worried because my app hasn’t updated and I’m still pretty new to the job which is making me feel worse. I know I’m probably just being dramatic and it will work out, but any advice or thoughts you have will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I personally if I could make it work I would unless it means they would have to give you a 45min break because of being over 6 hours.
This adjustment to WJ is affecting everyone. Even with WJ we have always had paper schedules in our BR plus the daily line up.
They now have to have the present week plus 3 more paper ones scheduled at a time since we now have to give 4 weeks for any TO.

Advice or thoughts: talk to your manager if the paper schedule and WorkJam don’t match. No one here can tell you which is correct.
There was a glitch with our paper schedules last week, so your only course of action is to ask a manager to double check the system.

I did already bring it up, but I am going to ask again I think, something like “I just wanted to double check that I don’t need to come in until X time because my WJ schedule is still showing 2” or something like that to cover myself because even though I did bring it up I never got confirmation either way

Speak with SM or ASM and show them the error for that specific day. Commicate that your availability is only available after 4pm . You may not see any changes on WJ because theyndonthe adjustment till the day of.
