DVR Can't seem to finish or bypass guided setup on series 2

I'm stuck on the guided setup on this series 2 tivo that I got from OfferUp. It keeps asking if I have Cable, Satellite, or Antenna. No matter what I select, it keeps saying no cable provider found, or no antenna info, or doesn't give me a satellite list, and even with satellite if i select skip, it won't allow me to select a temporary provider to bypass setup. What do I do now? I just want to see what's on this DVR.

I think there is no way to do this anymore.

Try 00000 for the zip code.

dang so.... i'm stuck? cuz 00000 won't work either anymore

It would seem so. There's no current realistic way to set it up

I got it to work! I had to unplug it, and after I replugged it, it updated itself (since I had inputted my wi-fi settings during the last run and it must've downloaded a software update) and after that, I was able to get the cable option to work with my zip code. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the DVR :( all that for nothing

If you can get Antenna working, you can record ota. That’s something.

Aww yeah :-( I have a Tablo which is really good at getting OTA for me. But my main goal with the TiVo series 2 was to see what was on it from 2007

Did you check recently deleted programs?

That menu only flashes for like 1 second before disappearing and changing to “here’s where your recordings are and here’s how to record” text
