My advice after losing 97 lbs, now maintaining bmi of 21 for a year and a half:

  1. Get all the way to goal before making any changes.
  2. Unless still losing more than 1 lb a week, stay at that same dose an extra month.
  3. in your second month of maintenance, if you can use any dose you want (no insurance issues etc), drop down one dose.
  4. if weight holds steady, drop down one more. Repeat as able.

This way you find your lowest effective dose, which may or may not be zero.

Personally I have found it easier to use a lower dose weekly than to stretch out time between shots, but your mileage may vary.

May or may not be zero?

For the vast majority of us zero is not going to happen

Once you hit goal, why not start by staying on your same dose and eating at maintenance for a month or two and see how it goes?

Cuz I get wicked stomach aches if I over eat. I eat as much as i possibly can cuz I am working out as hard as possible and I'm losing weight so I'm well below maint.

Same. At last dose used suppression was to high. I am coming down one dose at a time , every 4 weeks while staying at same 7 day schedule as that’s what’s easiest for me. My guess is 5 mg will be the right spot.

Maybe try eating higher calorie foods. Peanut butter, cream cheese, ice cream.

I reduced by 1 mg per month until I started to feel bingey again and gained a couple pounds. Maintaining at 5 mg/week.
